You'll probably have better luck going to the casino and playing the games there or betting on sports. I remember seeing a betting website where you can bet on anything, but I forgot the name and you'll probably have better luck there too. When I used to work night shift the other slaves used to roll dice and bet money and even gambling like that probably has better odds than a 1/ trillion chance mega jackpot millions lottery.
>>182071 I actually see lots of literal retards and old people at the store taking several minutes asking how to buy lottery tickets and how much everything costs.
Even though it has the worst odds of any US lottery game, I play it for the sliver of hope that I could start the weekend with extreme financial freedom
The lottery is a money sink. If you want to buy a ticket or two a week/month, whatever. It's a chance to win lots of money, but not a guarantee. Even stocks are more of a guarantee to make millions than the lottery
Anyone else make a point of buying lottery tickets far from home? I stopped buying them at my neighborhood supermarket and liquor store since {{{if I win}}} I'll still be going there until I can buy my own house and have it ready to move in, and then everyone will remember me as that guy who won the lottery and constantly beg for money.
The only people I know who won the lottery was a group of fifty or so guys at work who pooled all their money every week to buy tickets, then they finally won and split it fifty something ways and everyone got a cool 5g. The lottery can only be won by groups, psychics and time travelers.
>>188655 This kind of thinking that you can get rich fast and effortlessly, and that you are special is what keeps broke people broke. Stop buying lottery tickets and start saving up to retire earlier.
>>188657 I would have mo problem with saving and working, if I have a normal life. But being outcast and bully ruin me. I'm entitled to the money. Fuck normalfags. Also they do is have sex and shit on us.
>>182063 I keep hoping one day you hear on the news about a wiz-type guy who actually wins the damn thing and posts proof here. Good luck as always wiz
I have to win. I'm complete and utterly useless. I can't even guide youngsters. Whether education, fitness finance and life skills, I totally useless. I hate myself beyond words. I am unable to motivate myself to do any thing meaningful.
>>188681 >I'm entitled to the money. Nobody is entitle to anything, to expect a normalfag world to hand it out to you isn't smart, they are only interested in milking you and other broke people with lotteries and other scams. >>188685 Chill, what's the point of hating yourself if you are just bio machine, free will is a spook.
>>188687 I have nothing to offer. I am completely unreliable. I hide in my room because of this ,spending my days fapping and watching anime. I need to win to escape this loop.
>>188689 >What are you talking about? There is no rational reason to hate yourself, the self that is conscious, this self doesn't control damn anything, there is no free will, all your wishes are a product of your unconscious brain. You might say then why I bother saying this, because I hope that rational part of your brain understands this and stops berating your consciousness over past mistakes or whatever it is that holds you back. Get out there, get a job if that's what you have to do, you ain't gonna win, even if you gonna win I doubt you'll change, most lottery winners ended up squandering it away.
Tomorrow, I'm going out to play. I'll be using your post IDs as my numbers, if I win I will share some of the money.Wish me luck. I promise you all, I will become the the N.E.E.T GOD.
This is a pretty fun video experiment that's relevant. Seriously, invest your money into some crypto currency or something besides wasitng it on the lottery.
1.6 billion that 1,600,000,000 Do you understand what you can do with that money. I have to win this is no longer a game. With this money I can free myself from the normalfags. I'm a neet right now but time is running out on my neetdom. I will win I WILL win I WILL WIN
>>189100 Fun fact, after taxes you will likely only walk away with around 950 million if you took it as one lump sum, and even less if you had it broken up.
was thinking about buying a ticket but belived it unlikely that the winning ticket would be anywhere near me. When I found out the winning ticket showed up in south carolina thousands of miles away, glad I didnt waste time to venture out into the cold to buy one. if the winning ticket appeared down the street, i think id probably neck myself
One person just won 1,600,000,000. if they take the Annuity, they get $1,060,530,000 lump sum $605,682,000. Even if they put the money in the bank at one percent interest. they will earn 6 million dollar a year.
Boy I'm running out of time. Mommy is trying to save 500 dollar in my bank account for something. Pretty Sure they're going to kick me out. Well game over. I need to win the lottery by the end of the year. It doesn't need to be Powerball or mega millions. Just a local game with 100,000 prizes.
Tonight is the night. Mega Million drawing is on new year day. I will win and start this year. I have accomplish nothing last year. Time is running out. Everything I want to do is only possible though the lottery. I can't work and I can't go back to school.
The lottery is everything.
oh lotto gods hear my cry, let me win or I might die.
>>193837 Reporters interviewed the townspeople and concluded that a mechanic who worked there won the lottery, he stopped showing up after that day and is laying low preparing to claim the prize.
>>193838 Smaller games like pick 5 & scratchcards, not the Powerball and Mega Millions drawings.
I'd only try buying a lottery ticket once in my entire life. The chance of winning is astronomic and buying more of them is going a negligible effect on impoving that in any significant way. Buying it once at least makes the probability more than zero I gues
>>194081 If there are 25 Mega Balls and you buy a ticket with each for $50, you are guaranteed to win, and even if it's mostly net loss, you feel really good when you scan the ticket, and it says WINNER! You feel like a real winner, you won!
What about betting? I only won once and it was on Trump, bet less than I wanted initially, could have made a lot more if I wasn't so scared. But They are some serious players who make ton of money on it. Also I see people promoting fixed betting another thing would be roulette I think chances are 51:49 red:black
they give you false hopes to keep you goyim going and wageslaving and false hoping, instead of you starting a revolution and eating the rich, it's how they keep you docile and obedient
>>194163 I mean, I'm not sure if there's some "hidden actor" rigging every lotto ever. I thought it was pretty obvious that the lottery is set up somehow to maximise profits and minimize the jackpot.
Not sure why buddy posed the dick chart, though. He must love penises and foreskins
Why don't you people just download robinhood and gamble on options or pharma companies. It's more thrill and you're more likely to win. There is absolutely no reason to ever buy lotto tickets unless you're sub 80 iq.
>>194163 You're one dumb brain dead brainwashed zombie for a "wizard". Fluoride drinking slave like clueless cattle led to slaughter for your master Satan.
>>194266 I tried that, didn't work, you can't compete with automated algo trading programs. Lottery at least is fair as everyone has an equally shitty chance at winning, but the winning numbers could be any numbers, personally selected or randomly chosen, and the ticket could be bought anywhere, at a 7-11 in Miami or general store in bumfuck Arkansas.
>>196007 I will escape this pain. Fucking normalfags ruin my life. I refuse to work with. I can't imagine work. I no social skill I fap to porn all day. U should see my laptop.
Is it possibility to work while being a virgin. I feel like people would ask me if I'm in a relationship all the time. If it come they start to question if I'm normal. I refuse to be at the bottom of the totem pole. A punching bag for people. Because that what always happen with me. I reject society. That why I'm a neet. I need to win so I can continue this lifestyle.
>>197046 >I'm 26 year old virgin who never had a girlfriend or really friend because of that I should be allow to be neet. It just make sense. wizchan 2019
Lotto gods please I'm begging u let me win. I'm no asking u to stop time. Please just let me win. I can't work. I can't social. I want to have a comfortable life anyway so please please I'm begging let me win.
>>197853 This time it's the Powerball jackpot that's huge and someone won the mega millions this week resetting the jackpot.
But currently they are almost the same lottery game. Both cost $2 for each entry, the Powerball is 5 of 69 numbers and 1 of 26 Power Balls, the Mega Millions is 5 of 70 numbers and 1 of 25 Mega Balls. Used to be the Mega Millions had less worse odds and cost only a dollar, but then they were like how can we even compete with Powerball, let's double the price and make it worst odds of any lotto game. And sure enough, a year after the game change there was that 1.6 Billion jackpot last October, something only Powerball had one time in January 2016.
>>197954 Why do u need to win. Me I'm a neet. And right now. One of my parents is seriously ill right. If they die we will lose potential income my neet status will die. Please oh please let me win. Me my heart is pumping and I'm scared as hell.
>>198059 >>198247 >>198261 Nobody won. The jackpot was $625 Million and now climbed to $750 Million. When the Mega Millions hit $1 Billion last October, the previous jackpot was $667 Million. So now Powerball could easily climb to a billion, even within the next 4 days before the draw on Wednesday. However, I have noticed that the jackpots this run of Powerball have been growing more slowly, quite possibly because the Mega Millions jackpot that topped out at just under $1.6 Billion last year is fresh in memory of the frequent American lottery player, who wasted lots of money on that final draw, and the few before it, now less people are playing because it seems hopeless and a waste, or buying less tickets since the odds may as well be impossible, and if you're gonna waste money on lotto, might as well just get 2 tickets than the 20 you did last time.
>>198300 Bitcoin is risky because of the amount of money you need to put in it to make any gains, it is a long term and unpredictable gamble, and all the technological mishaps that make your money disappear.
Lottery is as simple as buying lottery tickets, which is something even people who don't gamble tend to do when the jackpots pass $400 million, since it becomes like a cultural phenomenon. Even already rick people and celebrities play the lotto for big jackpots, cause why not, it's fun, and for others it's their only hope in life, if they're gonna be poor whether or not they play the lottery, might as well just play the lottery. What is Kevin the wagecuck going to do with an extra $100 a month, save for a paltry "retirement" which he might not live to see?
I would honestly fear winning the lottery since I feel as though some gigantic tidal wave of bad luck would immediately follow. It goes back to that whole "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction" kind of thinking. I wouldn't even know what to do with it all except let it rot in a bank account somewhere after maybe giving some to charity, buying some electronics and a few nice meals.
>>198484 Bank account isn't rot. If you're frugal, once you collect enough it increases faster than you withdraw. But I totally get what you mean by the action reaction thing.
>>198485 A bank account is in fact rot, unless it's a money market.
>>198484 You'd likely just split it up among a few index funds at a place like vanguard if you don't care to do anything with it. After you set aside enough to cover basic needs for the rest of your life, you could start investing in things you want to see in the future. Maybe commission an anime or something, who knows.
Well l'm playing tonight. Last lost hit me hard. Made realized how pointless this is. That I'm going to have to work one day. But I can't stop. I need to win.
>>200225 >Last lost hit me hard How much money are you wasting on this? I buy a ticket once in a while to get some hope in my life but I can't understand people buying a bunch of tickets at the same time thinking it's an investment
>>198485 my bank account charged me a fee because I didn't keep enough money in it, then I didn't look at it and it ran out of money. Then some sort of overdraft protection kicked in from my other account and drained the last of my money from that account, then both accounts charged me more fees which triggered overdraft fees in both accounts. Fuck banks.
I'd take the annuity cause even with increasing taxes it's still guaranteed money for 30 years. Can't actually fathom what it's like to have tens or hundreds of millions all at once, and would bet against myself managing it well. With the lump sum I could end up spending it sooner that I'd expect, or the bank could fuck it up somehow and it won't last.
>>200225 Buy one ticket a week, at most. Invest the rest of your savings somehow. Or just keep it under your blanket. Literally anything is better than throwing everything on lotto tickets, though the occasional one wont hurt
Didn't anybody here read Elliot Rodger's manifesto?
He basically went insane buying lottery tickets, driving across different states to take part in different lotteries, all in a mad pursuit to get the 'golden ticket' that was going to fix all the problems in his life. If he could just have money, he would be able to have x, and do y, and be z, and all sorts of things. It was clear that the fact he believed these things made him so mentally unstable and ill that even if he did win he would completely fail to find any peace (which, of course, he would never have done to even if he blew a thousand lifetimes worth of his money).
I haven't been coming here very long, but I think you will all agree with me that Elliot Rodger was very un-wizardly, and that should give you good reason to suspect that a desperate desire to win the lottery is the same. Not to mention the fact that it is clearly a facile desire for material gain, which is clearly a normie thing.
I realise that some of you might believe this is different because it is a desire to fund the ultimate ascetic neet lifestyle, and so the ends justify the means. Well, I reject the idea that neetdom is a necessary property of wizardhood. It seems to me that being a wizard is about having a stoic perspective on life, seeing the world as it really is and getting without the need of others. If you are rich, this might amount to finding solitary activities to keep the mind stimulated as you pass the time. If you are poor, then this will involve finding a suitably wizardly job that minimises interactions with normies and which supports your independence. This idea that you can live at the expense of your parents, and therefore dependent on others, and then just put your hopes on something totally unrealistic, demonstrates that you are fundamentally dependent on people and detached from reality, where I think for a wizard it should be the other way around.
My final point, which is a technical one, is that lotteries are a negative net utility. Say you have a lottery between 10 people, who each put 1$ into a pot, which is then awarded to one person in a fair lottery. To work out the utility you multiply each dollar outcome by the probability that it will happen, and then add it all up at the end. In our example, the jackpot is 10$ which means you will have gain 9$. There is a one in ten chance of this happening, so the weighted utility of this outcome is 0.9 (divide by 10). The is also while is a 9 in 10 chance that you will lose $1, which means that the negative outcome has a utility of -0.9. Add these up, and the net utility is 0. What this means that if you and these 10 people keep playing this lottery into infinity you would be expected to average out at 0 dollars.
What happens when they take money out of the jackpot? Well, the net utility of the gamble becomes negative. Say they take 1$ out of the $10 dollar pot in the example. Then in the winning scenario you get $8, divided by the chance of that happening this has a utility of 0.8. But you still have a 9 in 10 chance of losing a dollar, so your negative outcome is still 0.9, giving you a net utility of -0.1. Then all the participants, as they continue to repeat the game, would be expected to lose on average of 10 cents per game. As you play this into infinity all the players lose infinite dollars, while the guy taking money out of the jackpot gets infinity rich.
Fundamentally, this demonstrates that any lottery where 100% of the proceeds are not returned to the players is a scam, and they usually taking some money out of the jackpot for charity. It also brings to light an interesting point: say you win lottery, and you get your $400m dollars, and then you use all that money to repeatedly play the lottery again. Unless the net utility is zero (or for some reason someone is putting extra money in) the expected result is that you will eventually lose all of your money. If someone with $400m cant be expected to make money out of the lottery reliably, then why would you expect to get anywhere with $38?
I appreciate it is something of an abstract point, but I think any wizard with an eye for mathematics should accept that buying a lottery ticket in fundamentally irrational (ignoring the fact that the positive outcome is not very wizardly anyway).
>>200753 >Not to mention the fact that it is clearly a facile desire for material gain I just want enough money to live in the middle of nowhere and never contact anyone ever again. We aren't some normies who plan on blowing it all on booze and hookers, so fuck off mate.
>>201151 >live in the middle of nowhere and never contact anyone ever again Christopher Thomas Knight did just that and he didn't have any money at all. So fuck off mate.
>>200753 Playing lottery is not logical, but it is fun, and there are lots of other things both wizards and normies waste their money on which are much worse imho. Playing lottery is very exciting entertainment, and that itself is the value I get from it even if I don't win.
I bought $20 Mega Millions tickets and a vanilla latte yesterday. Wish me luck.
>>200753 Lotteries are pretty much a waste of money unless you have figured out some mathematical way of winning. So unless you are on the scale of this guy, don't bother with it. https://thehustle.co/the-man-who-won-the-lottery-14-times If you still like gambling so much, it'd actually be better to learn how to play high stakes poker or something.
>that feel when you get excited walking past 7-11 on a nightwalk seeing the jackpot reset to 40. But then check the results at home only to find it wasn't actually you who won
>>204856 Only for those with so little brain that they NEED the structure of employment hours and a boss man telling them what to do, otherwise they end up writhing on the floor in their own waste no knowing what to do with themselves.
>>204935 the lottery pisses me off, there needs to be separate stores for lotto players to get pay the idiot tax at. They hold up lines out the door if it gets bad enough with just one customer who wants a million flashy pieces of paper telling them they just flushed all their money down the toilet.
Being neeting it up since 2016. Will be 4 year since I became neet. I will need to win so I can continue this lifestyle. Can't imagine work with normalfags, never being in a relationship, no friend and never had sex.
I need this. Oh Lotterygods please heard my cries.
I play the lottery regularly, and managed to secure decent sums a few times. Nothing life changing, but twice I was able to NEET it up for a few years.
