Is this anhedonia or enlightenment?

I was really into things (music, politics, religion, hobbies), I've always thought there's no meaning in life, it's what you give it. Recently, that's been hitting very hard and I don't want to engage in anything. Nothing seems real so what's the point? You can argue for any political position or justify following some religion but none of them are correct. I don't even want to do my hobbies as much anymore since they just seem like mindless movements or the products of them (an origami bird or a drawing) have no purpose so why should they exist.

I guess you have figured by now that things only have the meaning you are able to give them.
>Is this anhedonia or enlightenment?
The former.

Sounds like Anhedonia, from experience.
I also don't believe enlightenment exists, it's just a term norms jerk themselves off to in order to feel better about themselves and over others.

Enlightenment, don't let 2 digit IQ crabs tell you otherwise. Not wanting to do anything is "good", it means you're dettached from desire, you're a step closer to ataraxia and infinite peace. From there, just do what you feel like doing or not doing. The ultimate pleasure is not instant gratification, but peace and tranquility. When you achieve peace and tranquility, you can do or not do whatever you want. It's your life and your consciousness. An enlightened wizard is his own god and weaves his own reality.

I know crabs will attack this post. This is not about "improvement", this is about finding peace, and peace is the ultimate pleasure.

Peace and tranquility have nothing to do with what OP described, a feeling of exhaustion and meaninglessness. Your pic makes me think you're a tourist anyways.

OP haven't even mentioned being sad.

Life has no meaning. That's not bad. You're a crab, not a wizard, you're trying to pull a newly enlightened wizard back into your bucket of self pity.

>wow being a wizard is so horrible I hate it, anyone that doesn't hate being a wizard like me isn't one

Enlightenment normally contains a level of contentment or peace, it also includes a lot of right intention and cetana. Death without anything but mental peace not a dejectedness. No meaning and a loss of interest in the world without the feeling that they are unsatisfactory because they lack something that you seek is more anhedonia. In theory if you've lost all connection to the world you can sit and do nothing as you rot away in to nature the could be seen as a detachment. Enlightenment if you consider it detached from the world, which many don't and instead see as a pure hearted action in the world, could be hard to differentiate from knowing aware consciousness indifferent to everything.

well you can't even expect such retards to even read the OP before responding anymore, otherwise he would know OP is literally describing anhedonia.
Luckly we still have people like >>222915 who at least read the OP. Don't expect that to be the norm anymore though.

>well you can't even expect such retards to even read the OP before responding anymore. I'm obviously not an assblasted crab, I got a dark black heart, anyone who isn't edgy like me isn't a wiz

>wizchan 2020
arguing about what is and what is not wizardly in every fucking thread

because it's turned into a combo of anti-fap, nietzsche, and general "just work out brah". literally every braggart sees themselves as some sort of greek statue figure who is choosing wizardry for self-discipline reasons rather than being asocial.

>Is this anhedonia or enlightenment?
Does realization bring you joy or anguish?
