ITT we discuss what awaits us after death, experiences, analysis of data, theories, etc
Some options:>abrahamic religions are right;heaven or hell>dharmic religions are right. celibate wizards who didnt fap probably get a free pass to nirvama>eternal oblivion. you won't be there to not-notice>quantum immortality.none of us will ever die on our own perspective.
I vote for the last option
>absolutely nothing because your mind is a product of your brain so once your brain is dead you stop existing and souls don't exist either, where's the fucking proof for souls man?
I never said i believe in souls. read my post,Q.I. doesnt require a soul.
That's pretty optimistic. If consciousness does indeed cease completely after the biological machinery that supports it shuts down, then we may finally find peace.
But what if consciousness has some kind of metaphysical property to it, such that once a consciousness is formed, even after death, it continues to linger forever, either in complete void or the single moment of its biological death, repeated forever. Perhaps you die by a bullet piercing your brain and in reality, you only experience that sharp pain for a millisecond, yet that freeze frame of your last moment is now forever etched into your conscious mind that continues forever.
Pretty scary stuff when you actually think about it.
>>229617>you only experience that sharp pain for a millisecond, yet that freeze frame of your last moment is now forever etched into your conscious mind that continues forever.
Now you're just scaremongering
I apologize. I'm sure we live in a "perfect" universe where such metaphysical accidents couldn't possibly happen :)

If this is true, you better die from a heroin overdose.
We have this same gottamn thread, every week, check the catalog newfags!!
I'm one of the reincarnations that became aware of Divine Me.
>you stop existing
>your enemies simulate the entire universe from the beginning until you are created
>when the simulated you dies your enemies put him in simulated hell
The more plausible basilisk.
Imagine getting reincarnated as a succubus.
There's an anime for that!
Yuck, who would want that? Stinky, large breasts that just flap everywhere when you walk, and a stinky, warm hole that you can put phallic shaped objects in. Imagine the smell.
>>229679>Imagine the smell.
just wash bruh
succubi might all be NPCs, so that might be impossible.
Maybe some succubi are PCs reverse-engineered by the Demiurge.
osho was a turbo normie,he distributed condoms to his followers
Does anyone remember that systemspace thing? It was at least partially an elaborate fantasy constructed by a Dutch schizo if i recall but it was interesting.
Did he have a whole imageboard dedicated to it and there were people donating money and so on? I think I remember that if that's the thing you're talking about.
Yeah he allowed people to transfer crypto I think which could be transferred to the next system. The whole thing had a very weird feel to it, even though it was far from the weirdest thing out there.
>>230008>far from the weirdest thing out there.
What is the weirdest thing you've seen out there?
I am fully convinced that life is a deliberate test. Call it a trial, simulation, whatever, and there is someone administrating the test, call them God, Examiner, whatever. In this life, we are deliberately meant to have bad things constantly thrown at us, constantly supposed to be in pain, and we are tested on how we react and respond to those tests. Only at the end of the test, death, do we find out what it was for and how we did. I can't otherwise explain if there is a god, why is He so evil; if there is meaning to life, why is it so pointless?
