As to why that is, I fall into the "Logarithmic Limit" camp. Early videogames had a lot of genres to expand into, and so a lot of memorable videogames come from that era. There's only so many clones of SimCity, Mario, Zelda, etc. that the market can sustain.

The current "joke" is that it's intestinal and brain parasites that alter your perception of things and your mood in general to make you want to do gross things like have buttsex and stick things in your holes - to help the parasite spread to new hosts. The thing is though is that the theory is actually an old one, has always been backed up by legitimate studies, and tests were done professionally in the past and are recently being conducted by amateurs to "cleanse" the gayness away with de-worming treatments, with mixed success. The toxoplasma ties to homosexual children have long been known.

It's rapidly becoming illegal to talk about this though, for the same reasons it's illegal to publish facts on the trauma experienced by babies during circumcision, and how they never recover from it.

There are thousands of indie games that have none of that shit who are mega huge successes. Everything from the massive hit of Among Us, to the unique experience of Superhot, or the thoughtful Papers Please, to the impressive Cuphead, To the comeliness of Stardew Valley.

Celeste and Disco Elysium are the only games you've listed that are reasonably popular to my knowledge. The latter lets you play as a fascist and the one hardcore Commie you meet near the end of the game is off the rails insane so I don't see how it's propaganda, they're portrayed as fucking delusional in that game, you get plenty of dialogue options to shit on them, and the union leader who espouses communism is portrayed as a fat manipulative jew using it for his own gain. I don't think anyone gives a fuck about Gone Home anymore and it was mostly just infamous at the time for being a shitty walking simulator that some retarded soy jounralists sucked off (probably bribed). I've never even heard of the others. You've given no sales figures or even concurrent player statistics indicating how popular any of this shit is but again I'd guess Celeste and Disco Elysium are the only ones that pulled decent numbers. Several of the games on your list have only about 100 reviews. One has fucking 17 reviews and several are only on itch.io. You're 100% obsessed, no way you find this shit casually browsing the average storefront for something new to play or even getting recs from youtube vids or the average imageboard community.

The one recent popular indie which actually has fag shit, however minimal, and yet you didn't list is Hades, and the only possible mental illness related ones I can think of are Omori and maybe Deltarune (maybe, I haven't played either and have minimal knowledge so I can't even say for sure they fit). You're delusional and are either hunting down obscure shit or following artsy fartsy blogs to find games to be butthurt about.

Not really true. Sure there are a lot of games about depression/mental illness and homosexuality. But there are a lot that aren't too. Maybe this is because mainstream games never really had those themes and it is something new.

You are always welcome to make your own games. Although it is a time consuming process, and you are going to have to deal with others. I completely suck at music-making, so I'd need to hire someone else to do that.
