Not really a hobby but I these teammates standing guard, and 5 or 6 from my childhood in storage. The only two I would like to purchase are the old style TY Tundra Arctic Tiger to replace a gift I lost and then a mid-2000s Pedobear plush if I can find one

I collect monkey plushies, sometimes I sleep with them too, only have 3 right now though I’m hoping to get another for christmas

when i was a kid i had a life size alligator plushie and i imagined his scales were bulletproof and that he would protect me from gunfire while i hug him.

I have some stuffed animals that I've accumulated over the years. Bears, birds and owls, sea creatures, things like that. I have to keep them in storage though because they accumulate so much dust if I just leave them sitting out.

the thing I like with plushies is that they are durable so you can easily throw them around or sleep with them or russle them up and they wont break or anything, so if they get dusty you can just jump into them and roll around

I've been obsessed with Kuromi for quite a while now and every single morning when I wake up, I check eBay's most recent listings for Kuromi related auctions and scroll through the whole thing.

Two days ago, I saw this one, and it's the nicest Kuromi plushie that I have ever seen, probably owed to the fact that it's 11, almost 12 years old and sanrio used to make merchandise with better quality than they do now…. as you can see, she has a glass/plastic button nose like your My Melody plushie which I think they stopped doing after ~2010 and started just cheaply sewing their noses on… which is often asymmetrical from human error. The new Kuromi plushies also often make her eyes way too far apart and give her body strange shapes that are very inaccurate to the official artwork and anime series.

This is the best Kuromi plushie I think money can buy, and I haven't been this excited all year.
Trouble is, I have no money so I had to dwell on it for those two days… I had a dream about it last night so I finally decided "fuck it" and bought it on a credit card. If it's appearing in my dreams then it must be important that I have it.

I have OCD and it's important to me that my plushes are perfect and 1:1 with the source material.

I’ve been collecting monkeys for a while, my parents hate buying me stuffed animals though so I have to beg them on christmas to get anything and sometimes they don’t, I’m hoping to get another this year
