I remember seeing this on TV as a kid but the memories are foggy. I thought the idea of mechs using big cables as weapons was cool. I should rewatch it. I never caught the whole thing but always thought it was neat and looked slick

>>32578I have major ADD so the fact that shit was always happening made this "long" show bareabe, but I do appreciate that some plot beats weren't allowed a moment to breathe before the show moved swiftly on to other things, a shame considering how much I love the theme

It was pretty enjoyable to watch once but the main character gets annoying at times. I preferred the movie.

I can't decide whether or not this is my favorite mecha series. Underrated series that never gets the praise it deserves.

>>35250Not really underrated since it was praised back then but forgotten among new audiences. The series was really unpopular in Japan though

I'm not sure if this is my favorite mecha or not. The number of anime and things that I enjoy in general seems to be decreasing so who knows if I would even still like this show if I watched it again.

I have never seen any modern fantasy anime movies with the epic feel of the movie. How tf does a 2000 movie beat out everything fantasy today
