There is only one. Renkin San Kyuu Magical Pokaan.
That is the only anime you need to know.
-Non non biyori
-Welcome to the NHK
is right. I never check reviews or anything about an anime besides a synopsis because the fans are usually terrible.
>>33623>Watamote>Non non biyori
>Welcome to the NHK
the first ~17 chapters are gold, the rest is trash
supposing you have already seen the classics and everything pre 2019, here are some good animes from the last ~8 seasons
slice of life + isekai/fantasy:>Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen>Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta>Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tsueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru>Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu>Watashi, Nouryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne!>Princess Connect! ReDive>Endro~!
slice of life:>Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!>Houkago Teibou Nisshi>Jashin-chan Dropkick>Machikado Mazoku>Koisuru Asteroid>Yuru Camp△>Kakushigoto
note that I willfully excluded most normgroid shows like kaguya, ishuzoku and the like.
in case you haven't seen all the important pre 2019 titles, check the following studios for quick reference:>Ajia-Do>Doga Kobo>Project No9>Studio Deen>Kyoto Animation
and check for adaptations of Manga Time Kirara's titles, as they are probably what you are looking for.
finally, a personal recommendation if you enjoy 90's anime: Heppoko Jikken Animation Excel♥Saga
Recommend some /out/ anime please.
I almost forget>Somali to Mori no Kamisama
Really good list, I approve.
I am also watching or watched things like Aria (which yeah, it's pretty old, but I think it's worth mentioning), toaru kagaku no railgun (which is pretty normalfag but has really cute succubi), houkago saikoro club, rifle is beautiful, and some others I can't get from the top of my head.
why do you care what other people like or don't? that's stupid
>after the rain
No, just.. no
>>33923>implying Nonon Biyori is any better
I'll give Renge and Dagashiya a pass but the rest of the bunch is far too predictable and tiresome.>gurdur ur oppai are bigger>I wanna marry oniichan>huuuuuu hazukashiii
I got majorly put off this show because of all the norms posting that ED dance of the pink haired succubus everywhere and generally all seeming to jump on the bandwagon. Maybe it's a pathetic or stupid reason to not want to watch something. The premise didn't really interest me anyway, not a fan of shows like that.
I dropped the manga after the edgy loner character Ishigami started to become a normalfag. Fuck Aka, that hack.
The rest of the show is cutesy teenage romance comedy. Don't bother.
nnb is nice though, the vacation film they did was sentimental the best way possible
Basically any anime that isn't on Netflix will be out of reach for normies. It's their only way of discovering anime.
>>that are out of the reach of normalfags
basically every anime from the past decade or that is not binge watchable is not recognized for most people nowdays.
you can also pick animes that were popular back in the day but now are almost forgotten as the people who watched em just grow up
MASUDA KOUSUKE GEKIJOU GAG MANGA BIYORI (great one)
there are a few that went unnoticed this decade at least for me:
Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin
s1 is good and worth watching, i didnt like s2 since it put me off
Is dying and being reincarnated as a 5 year old a fucking genre now Japan? lol
dont worry about normalfags when watching anime, if you really want to get away from them read vns
>>34288>if you really want to get away from them read vns
You realize that a major western corporation made an "ironic" VN right?
It was surprisingly decent.
Ain't even mad.
Hunter x Hunter
Made in Abyss
Shin Sekai Yori.
The closest thing I can think of is Sora no Woto
Made In Abyss was never SoL. If anything it gets more tame and home-centric toward the recent chapters.
>>33619>mecha, slice of life
Grls und Panzer
Sports anime with 50% tanks & 50% schoolkids
Another animes that i think you can enjoy>Elfen Lied>Tokyo Ghoul>Happy Suggar Life>Another>Higurashi no naku koro ni
Fate extra is so good despite being on netflix though, it has become one of my favorites
Add angels of death and shiki to that list and it's masterful
Kumoko was great until her Arachne evolution/upgrade.
I'd recommend Juuni taisen.
Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories
dont trust anime recommendations.
try to look at how and where the anime is discussed to see how good it is. if its blown up on twitter/reddit but places like 4chan are skeptical, that's a red flag. if casuals drool over it but elitists (overwhelmingly) shun that's a red flag. another big red flag is if people overwhelmingly mention visuals/OST as a reason they like it.
the only person i trust with actual recommendations wholeheartedly is thatanimesnob. sure he is a cunt but hes rarely wrong, and he almost never hypes up something thats actually shit. as for actual recommendations:
mecha: nge, code geass, gurren lagann, gundam the origin
slice of life: bakemonogatari, planetes, steins;gate
other: welcome to the nhk, tatami galaxy, logh, fate/zero, princess mononoke, spirited away, cowboy bebop, samurai champloo
those first 12 episodes? absolutely
Try Aria the animation it is like mushishi but all succubus characters.
if you like moe there are a lot of good animes to watch like mitsuboshi colors and ichigo mashimaro
i don't see the appeal. it was dull and boring.
I guess it's like Non Non Biyori, or CGDCT anime. Personally I liked K-On, but can't stand watching stuff like that anymore.
The appeal is that it is very relaxing and quite deep without being forceful. Try watching it before you want to sleep.>>37731
It is not really CGDCT technically but is relaxing like non non biyori is
the anime is very atmospheric and magical
the anime is for adults so you need to be mature to enjoy it
