Is there a more relatable /wiz/ character than Yonro? I haven't watched Shin-chan in years since it's a pain in the ass to watch outside of Japan and I'm pretty sure it shares the same fate as spongebob or south park, but is yonro still in modern episodes?

 No.34324

Normally the characters are written to overcome their hikkiways and "come out of their shell"
I cannot remember many shows where they put a recluse in a positive light

This show always seemed very autistic and cringe to me
Never watched it.

Cringy. The word you're looking for is "cringy". Cringe is a verb, whereas cringy is an adjective. Never make this mistake again.

yea you just have no taste

Fuck I'm Yonro irl. I hope he's still a virgin because then he'd be me to a tee, but I'm slighlty older.

>I hope he's still a virgin because then he'd be me to a tee, but I'm slighlty older
There was an episode where he tried to lose his virginity by hiring a hooker, but Shin stole the money by mistake and it ended up in the hands of every kid in the neighborhood

That's what this site is for.
And I hear the English dub that aired in America was very different than original Japanese, but I don't know.

I think a more kid friendly eng dub aired on jetix

I only seen the version that aired on adult swim and ended rather abruptly.

Never got around to watching the sub because shows with triple digit episodes scare me off.

It's not like you need to watch them in order to understand what's happening. The dub that aired on [as] even aired out of order. Only the pre-early 2000s episodes ever get ENG translated though, so that's a bummer

I always wanted to watch this show why did nobody ever sub it

>why did nobody ever sub it
There were a bunch of subbed episodes up on kissanimu back in the day I think. Now BuriBuri is resubbing Shin-chan from episode 1-present, but at a very slow pace. They're up to episode 38 right now.

Slow but from what I hear the quality of the sub is good.
You know what they say.
There is fast, good, and cheap. You only get two.
They are doing the good and cheap thing, so it ain't gonna be quick.
