I have decided I will start a comprehensive life regime for the only valid experience I have left:dreams. i dont mean "dreams" as in travelling the world, etc, but the brain state known as dreams.im keenly interested in lucid dreams too. Here is what my regime would look like in its peak
A polyphasic regime. It would multiply the chances or the actual success ,of having different dreams within each 24 hours period
Breath retention. It would make me requires LESS sleep(more on this below)
sleeping sitting down on a chair. LESS sleep, too.also it tricks the ears center of balance into thinking you're awake:a good cheat for lucidity
REM rebound:the 3 times i mentioned less sleep needed was all for this;science has proven less sleep equals more dreams.
I would probably need 1-3 months to adapt, but, hey, what better thing do I have to do?
bonus aids:
>melatonin pills, bananas, some form of fasting, sleeping with the windows open(its more healthy)

Anyways;i just slept on an incline(inclined head/torso area),I put a triangle pillow behind the matress. thats literally all i did. no techniques,no hemi-sync.I think lucid dreaming is supposed to be natural in healthy mammals.

A couple of years ago for a period of a few weeks I had lucid dreams multiple times a day every day. I have no idea what caused it, but it disappeared as quickly and mysteriously as it came on. Perhaps it's the wizardly magic.

i made a lucid dreaming app of sorts which plays bursts of a noise at regular intervals after an initial delay period. it worked for a while but now i dont even notice the sounds. ridiculous

>>255520>You basically get an infinite canvas which you can color with any experience you're creative enough to conjure. That's my problem with daydreaming, my creativity is at an all time low.
Whenever i try to imagine a conversation it just feels wrong, like i put each word in their mouth. Then i start frantically retconning and redoing everything until i start feeling physically sick.
Same for other stuff.
But i used to do it a lot when i was younger, was really fun.

>>255804Just on an incline? There must be more to this than you are speaking of, do you use any "reality check" techniques? Tell yourself things before sleep? Anything else at all?

i even found melatonin HARMS lucid dreaming.my theory is that it prompts sleep too fast for a gradual awareness/lucidity to take place

>>255471>what better thing do I have to do?Sleep during the day, especially in the sunlight.
Try not to sleep where it's noisy, it'll leak into your dreams. I've heard whole conversations in my sleep.
Nofap (for months) helps make your dreams really vivid, at least it did for me.
