Norman is bawling for attention
hey keep the good stuff of the main boards
The PC port of Final Fantasy VII is half price on steam for $6 and I've been debating whether it's worth it to buy it or not. I have never played a jrpg before. This game originally came out in the freaking 90's why are they still charging $12 for it? I hate how expensive old as shit games are, they should be like a couple of dollars max.
if 6 bucks is a big investment for you, you should probably consider saving your money and learning how to pirate shit.
It's worth playing. Not the best Final Fantasy, but a good starting point.
is FF IV worth it?
Try it before you buy it.
Pirate a copy and if you like it and think the company should get money so they can make more cool shit then buy it.
it became a huge meme game with normies in the 00s and the companies are milking that to the hilt, everyone wants to fit in for having played it and will pay any amount of money
It's my favorite. The Steam version has worse graphics then the SNES version, but I prefer it over 7. 6 is also worth checking out
so I guess PS4 has been exploited and people don't gotta buy games anymore?
anyone here have one? how big is the average game on the hard drive? I heard they're insanely huge and it's not even viable, that you can only add like 5 games on the typical 1TB hdd
FFIV is great, you could play the GBA version for some extra challenge.>>265454
You don't like V? It's my favorite.
It's lonesome to watch a recorded stream from ages ago that you're no part of. With live streams you feel like you're there with the streamers and audiences.
I do a lot of imageboard thread reading on archives, and I've noticed there's this odd preference I can't shake for reading a LIVE thread even if I don't actually participate. Even though I 'know' intellectually that if I don't post in a live thread there's really no significant difference to an archived one - somehow there's a completely different feeling and I prefer the live thread. There could be a bunch of people taking quotes from an archive and posting each comment sequentially live into a new thread to recreate the old, and somehow part of me would still prefer the "live" one. Weird.
It's not so much that it's an investment it's just like buying a $6 cup of coffee, you have to question if it's worth it.
I ended up buying it yesterday and playing it until the first boss. First impressions are that I just paid $6 for a shitty version of pokemon. We'll see.
I find it annoying that I can only enjoy MMA if it's live. For some reason I have no interest in just watching recordings of the events. It makes no sense.
Probably just knowing that what you are seeing is happening in real time, and that it is still undecided.
I wish it was still winter. Spring is too noisy.
I often find myself starting a post, then realizing that I don't really know what I'm talking about.
I too dislike this time of the year
too many people outside
unpredictable weather, never quite sure what to wear
You helped her later? If you there is no problem.
After all is not that uncommon to not inmediatly wake up in the morning.
Good thing my wiz wand is pretty small so I can just hide it, if something like that just happens to me.
Wizmom had to take a shower because she had to go to her morning hospital appointment. There won't be later.
If you feel bad about it you can try to say sorry or cook something for her, it will wash away the guilty feeling and make you feel better with yourself.
Just let her see the boner. She knows what it is.
Yes, the meat machine we all are forced to ride is delicate.
Evens and I cut my hair. Odds and I'll continue looking like a bum for another day.
I don't feel like cutting my hair.
long hair is wizardly. keep it.
>plug in a new wifi antenna
>can hear this scratchy static noise when data is being transferred via my headset
loading wizchan for example, it makes a slight BZZZZZZZZZ noise and then stops exactly when the page finished loading
actually kinda cool. it stops if i plug it into a different usb slot. im guessing having headset plugged next to it is the problem
It's often caused by the sound output jacks not being grounded proper. Old Dell D series laptops would output different frequencues through the headphone port based on what the screen was drawing. Animated GIFs would sometimes sound like little melodies
I don't think the domain name change affected the ratio of good posters to bad posters. If we don't invite new people in, it will probably be the same experience as before, just slower.
Whatever you do, don't be too upfront about it. To say "I post on Wizchan (Which is now Wizardchan.net) because I etc etc…" has a better impact on how potential users and trolls see this place than say, if you were going around making threads along the lines of "Wizchan got shut down for CP, and Wizardchan.net is where you can bash them for it!". If a board has prospective virgins on it, don't be a bother to that board.
When are we going to get the old website back?
advertising wizchan is never good
one of my piss cans is not perfectly flat so i guess when the train comes by it begins to make a weird high pitched sound as it rocks back and forth or something
good to be back
…nevermind, it's not good to be back.
sweet biscuits I’m alive.
My vacuum just exploded. Pretty sure the motor is dead. I don't know if I should get another one or not. Brooms are exhausting so I'm considering it.
As soon as I quit my job I am going to start working out again. I need to be strong so I can fight off my family and their friends if they tried to throw me out.
Do you think its possible to become a kind of Markus Aurelius of the internet? >>265783
The site needs more people. I'm damn sure of that.
I fell asleep on a relative's couch while watching Yojimbo today and had a vivid dream about feudal Japanese thugs invading the house. I pulled out a gun and started shouting at them to surrender, but I might have been shouting IRL
does anyone else wake up with an achey bladder, my body makes so much pee at night it must stretch it to it's limits
I drink less at night, failing that I take a warm shower. For some reason that makes me not want to urinate at night
I miss the days when "shitpost" was actually an insult that was well understood to mean "low quality and unfunny". Then came "ironic shitposting" where if you called out a shitpost for what it was, they would go "haha i was just being ironic". Now people think "shitposting" is cool. "teehee I'm such a shitposter kek ^_^".
i remember like 2013 or so the irony thing on 4chan was really annoying. like anything, if you give it a name and an identity, people will embrace it regardless of how stupid and shit it is
I don't think anyone thinks shitposting is respectable, but it is fun.
I really like deleting files off my computer.
I just spent the last ten days marathoning isekai anime one after another until I go insane, and I'm starting to see why people hate the genre, for instance that ubiquitous isekai truck that runs over the MC in EP01. Then most of these bastards barely make mention of their previous life in the reincarnated one despite having the memories, or stop talking about it altogether in EP02 or 03. It's like, motherfucker, what's even the point of keeping your memories if you won't flavor the show by being this weird alien from a different universe disturbing the primitive medieval world with all sorts of advanced human knowledge? And instead just letting yourself get sucked down into the new life? That's another thing I hate here… Identifying with the new world and caring about all their stupid dramas and playing along. Pfft.
If it were me, I'd take my god-like isekai powers and get as far away from those creatures as possible. Or just kill myself. Who the hell wants to re-incarnate anyway?
The worst part is, there's nothing left to watch but these.
You would be surprised by the amount of manga out there that makes fun of the tropes you mentioned and makes things, if not more interesting, at least more entertaining to go through.>Or just kill myself
In fact very recently I read an one-shot where the protagonist realizes she'll just reincarnate again so she just uses suicide like a "switch worlds" button, kinda funny. Only problem is these smaller works never get any translations and much less anime adaptations, so most people will just see the very tip of the iceberg.
It's pathetic. Narcissist fucks acting compassionate, fishing for estrangers' empathy. Superficial, hollow people.
I noticed significant load time decreases of a fresh windows+few vidya with one as the only drive. If your board is close to the ~2 year mark check for bios updates as many models have issues detecting the M2 if you're booting from sata and vice-versa
don't lose the screw that hold it in
I hate that picture, what kind of moron wears a cap, or any kind of hat inside? Why would you reveal to the whole world that you have cried over an idiotic tv show? How does one post such an unpleasant picture of themselves in the first place? Good grief.
Uh, maybe sometimes. But SIDS is also pretty common on airplanes. Good luck smothering a baby unnoticed on an airplane packed full of passengers like sardines in a tin.
That's not all. Children are far more likely to suffer neglect or abuse at the hands of their mothers but the media always portrays succubi as innocent angels or victims of men's violence. Reality tells us otherwise, that females have always been the devil. They abuse, neglect their own little boys, and then kill them.
> The DHHS data shows that of children abused by one parent between 2001 and 2006, 70.6% were abused by their mothers, whereas only 29.4% were abused by their fathers.
>And of children who died at the hands of one parent between 2001 and 2006, 70.8% were killed by their mothers, whereas only 29.2% were killed by their fathers.
>Furthermore, contrary to media portrayals that leave the viewer with the impression that only succubi are ever harmed, boys constituted fully 60% of child fatalities. (Table 4-3, p. 71, Child Maltreatment 2006, http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cb/pubs/cm06/cm06.pdf, reports that 675 boys died in 2006 as compared to 454 succubi).
>The pervasive media bias cannot help but influence judges. Thus the newspapers, TV shows, and movies that promote this bias must bear a significant part of the responsibility for child abuse and deaths of children at the hands of violent mothers. http://www.breakingthescience.org/SimplifiedDataFromDHHS.php
I remember a few years ago here on whizzbang talking about killing a baby execution-style and how ridiculous and wasteful would be.
Could you link something elaborating on that? When I searched for "sudden infant death syndrome airplane" all I got were a bunch of articles talking about correlation between air pollution and SIDS
There's a ton of problems that are going to crop up more and more in the next generation simply because they don't have a father at home.
Rate this idea. What if the government or some non-profits start buying up IPs of books and making them available for free online? It'll be like public libraries but with more access and lower maintenance cost. What if they also buy up IPs of medical technology and making them royalty free? That'll make healthcare more affordable.
Is Emperor of Japan:Shinto::Pope:Catholicism ?
In the current environment, I don't think it's a bad idea. Of course, I'd like IP to just not be so fucking ridiculous, but I don't think that's politically feasible.
Sort of, as I think the emperor is still supposed to be a descendant of amaterasu, but I think there's a different sort of "grand priest" role that shinto has. AFAIK the emperor has only ever had ceremonial duties, and never really intervened or directed shinto affairs.
A half-Peruvian kid went to my high school
>>265958>We have mandatory voting so I couldn't skip this shit
What are your thoughts on that? I have a feeling that if voting were mandatory in the U.S., you'd see a lot more radical conservatives/libertarians voting who have Browned-out of the voting process. It feels like it's the opposite in most Latin American countries, and that's exactly why they have mandatory voting.
Uh, if you want to respond, let's maybe do so in the politics thread, and keep this out of here, I guess.
what country makes FALs standard issue?
It's called the right arm of the free world for a reason.
you're thinking of the AK
There's a big disinterest and mistrust for politicians in my country, because of many past cases of corruption, some involving current candidates. Right now the population fear candidates won't keep their promises, not believe them competent, etc. you could say people no longer believe in democracy or politicians, and the numbers show it. The voting intention for candidates don't pass 14 percent and I read 18 percent will vote null. So in my country's case no party is benefiting from mandatory voting, but I guess in general it is good for "democracy".
At least they dont seem morbidly obese like in the united clowns of america.
You must be European.
The thing about plagues and famines is that they disproportionately kill dumb people. Europe probably gained a few IQ points after the plague hit. Google Clark-Unz selection.https://www.unz.com/pfrost/more-on-clarks-model/https://www.unz.com/pfrost/final-thoughts-on-clark-unz-model/
I heard what killed most of them was really anthrax, the symptoms were identical
I've read many times that people in central and south america are generally as unhealthy as their northern counterparts, and that they are especially fond of sweet drinks. No wonder they are getting wrecked by covid if true.
What a deranged freak. Is that some type of pet snake she is crying over? Even worse than if it was a cat or dog would be understandable though way over the top. I have a theory that with modern humans having no ethics or morals they are attracted to extreme examples of these we would call disgusting like snakes and spiders, I can't imagine people in the past holding a snake as a pet, I am pretty sure someone smarter than me can explain better, but the lack of "common sense" disgust that a normal human would have toward snakes and spiders etc or even trannies, if you wnat to get politic could go a long way to descrive why modern society is so degenerated with no morals.
It's impossible for me to describe how much I hate soyboys like this. They're the antithesis of wizards, or atleast what wizards should be.
Yeah, the other poster is just some normgroid/ succubus from crystalcafe trying to gaslight you wizbud, they're full of shit, literally never heard of one case of kid dying from SIDs on an airplane, some old people do though, they just die of old age and the sterwardess throws a blanket over their face so the normgroids aren't freaked out over it.
Interesting. This is why I was being hesitant: I do find neo-Malthusians irritating because they've been repeating the same claims for centuries. However, at the same time, it is a fact that there is a plateau and decline of fertility rates. This makes me think there's something to it. I think you're right that we have physical resources to support more, but I'm starting to think that the 'hard cap' is due to 'softer' reasons. E.g., there's something in the human psyche that will not want to reproduce at such extremely high population densities. "Rat Park" and all that.>>266006
Did you link the right posts? That didn't say anything about the affect of plagues on general intelligence.
Moreso than just plain intelligence selection, there's something to be said for the simple economic argument of, "There's less supply of labor, so you're going to have to pay more for it" that created a lot of upward mobility in the era after the Great Plague. There's a lot of notes of rich people from the era complaining that they had actually had to work because they couldn't find anyone to do it anymore, or that they had to pay what they thought were 'exorbitant fees' for labor.>>266007
There are a lot of studies about certain genes that changed in Europe due to the plague. Does that theory line up with those?
you don't hate him, you hate yourself
AK are gay and for gays only.
Ha, what a corny response.
I don't think he was always like that. I liked Clerks, a snappy little comedy. He wasn't afraid to offend back then. He wasn't an unfunny conformist. I suppose all people who worked on it had to have at least some genuine passion and independent ideas about film and culture. They even had to shoot it on old black and white film because they couldn't afford color, and they made it work despite limited resources. So what the fuck happened? I mean I know libtard conditioning happened but why did these people give in to it? It's not like they couldn't have called bullshit on all of that, they had to choose to submit willingly. Smith and people like him gained attention when they made something on their own, of their own. And then they just decided to assimilate into the lamestream, producing dreck of ever declining quality? Humanity is fucking depressing.
genes change all the time according to lots of things, they'd probably find gene changes due to the internet
I thought I should post this.
It's just an hour and a half footage of various lakes. Apparently it's in the National Film Registry. Oddly relaxing.>>266039
The levels of societal conformism in general is so scarily high that I'm beginning to think it should be brought up as an issue for its own sake.
Can someone post the youtube channel of some red haired wizardly guy that does rants and weird projects in his basement?
Me smiling goofing off by the TVs in the background, ignoring the normieshit in the foreground.
Nice, those precooked chickens are great, especially when they drop price and the end of the day. The grocery store near me tags them at $0.99 before closing. Good for cat food at that price. That's a lot of salt wiz, make sure to stay hydrated.
Just gave my first ever 1 star review for a Lyft ride.
I've been taking Lyft for like 2 years now and never once had any major issue until today. Never had any issues when I took uber either for that matter. And now that I think about it, this might be the first negative review I ever gave for anything ever. Normally I just give positive reviews or none at all, but this bitch pissed me off so much I just couldn't help myself.
So I go to get in and she passive aggressively scolds me for trying to get in on the wrong side. Normally I get in on the back on the opposite side from the driver, I think there was one time a driver asked me to get in on the other side, but they weren't passive-aggressive about it and there were no other issues.
So while in the car, she asks me to take my sunglasses off. I asked her why and she says "you're hiding your identity from me with the gunglasses and the hair and the mask I can't see your identity." So I took my sunglasses off, pushed my hair back and asked if I should take my mask off or not. She then said "Do you want this ride or not?". "I'm just asking because I'm genuinely confused". She told me that I just needed to take my sunglasses off so she could "see my identity". So I put my sunglasses back on and she starts giving me an attitude and passive-aggressively says "I can pull over anywhere you like if you want its up to you". I only put my sunglasses back on because she just said she needed to "see my identity" and it's not like I'm going to become a different fucking person after putting my sunglasses on. I didn't want to be late for my appointment so I just kept them off to appease her and gave her a 1 star after the ride.
If there's one thing I can't fucking stand it's an OCD control freak that flips out on people for doing things that have zero impact on them. Fuck em.
The self-checkout machines at the walmart near me have sensors below the bag rack that detect when something is added. If it detects weight added without a scan it flips its shit, and when you do scan something it doesn't let you scan another item before it detects an addition. Even if you scan a pillow or something that won't fit in the bag you need to smack the machine to trick it in to letting you recart your item
Why can't you follow basic instructions?
Now they think you are stealing shit and will preemptively call the cops since most employees can't call you out or do anything even when they think you are stealing.
That or the manager will come over and check you out by hand while staring you down.
Stop stealing shit you degenerate.
all self checkout machines have the weight sensors and the various product weights programmed in>>266256>instructions
they don't have instructions boyo, there's no how-to guide on the front of the things, those machines like to be picky sometimes and it's left to people to figure out the nuances like not scanning & bagging things too fast for the shit software to handle or giving lighter items a whack to make em register
>>266257>was told direct instructions by someone>the machiense also have multi language instructions with pictures for people who can't read well>they don't have instructions boyo>the whole rest of the post>the abusing property
I pray you never encounter a cop because your kind of dumb will get you killed.
>Stop stealing shit you degenerate
I'm not low IQ enough to risk getting a criminal record for stealing a $2 bag of chips.
>Why can't you follow basic instructions?
What instructions are those? Having to put down the handheld scanner to bag items I just scanned, which would have taken me twice or even three times as long to scan everything?
I just simply scanned everything in my cart with the handheld scanner, paid for it, then bagged everything. How exactly is that stealing or doing it wrong?
If America was a white country with high social cohesion, I wouldn't have to put up with these retarded anti-theft measures that are put in place to stop retarded niggers from stealing.
>I pray you never encounter a cop because your kind of dumb will get you killed.
I've actually got pulled over once and they let me go.
/ >>266261 is right.
In my case, any time I do try to use it, some employee gets pissed off with how slow I'm doing it and ends up bagging everything for me.>>266255
Thanks for the explanation. I don't know why I haven't heard this until nearly a decade after these things come out, but whatever.>>266254
Mongoloid succubi are like this. I had one tell me I was eating wrong and forcibly grabbed my chopsticks. I grabbed another pair of chopsticks and kept eating like I was under her dirty stares.
No one is going to fall for your retardation here by the way, your scheme is outed and you're pathetically predictable. It takes a particular level of mental infancy to be so mad at a new medium that you start spamming your hideous children's webseries because your love for 3D is "threatened".
>>266262>I've actually got pulled over once
Oh god, he drives!
Also, how were you even able to pass the test if you can't follow simple instructions?>>266264
What the hell are you talking about?
Playing dumb only works on the gullible and impressionable, grow up.
And here we have one of our resident smug pathological contrarians who whenever a wizard posts about a conflict with someone else or about being in a bad situation in general, will automatically side with the other party and/or accuse the wizard of being the sole party to blame for the situation.
People like this ruin the atmosphere and they know it. They're motivated by spite and do everything they can to ruin the comfy environment and breed unnecessary hostility.
the "machiense" don't have instructions on the front, nobody clicks the FAQ button on the touchscreen or should need to, even if he does click their useless info part there won't be anything about the nuances I mentioned, and I'm gonna bet the stupid filipino attendant didn't explain them
"sir! sir! you bagging it wrong" and taking over for him is not giving instructions
he makes me wonder if shelf stockers are usually this unhinged
>>266273>don't have instructions on the front
You know that glowing screen thing with the words and pictures.
Just do what that thing tells you. Those are where the instructions are. It was made so even people with special needs like the intellectually disabled can use them.
It really isn't that hard.
Odds are you probably were stealing shit and you are just butthurt you had to pay for it because your dumbass scam didn't work this time.
I refuse to believe someone is too stupid to use machines that are made simple enough that actual retards can use them.
You're replying to a different person than you think you are replying to
You do know it's against the rules to post pictures of yourself right?
>>266275>glowing screen thing with the words and pictures.
you mean the one that only displays the word "OPEN" over a plain background>Just do what that thing tells you
you mean when it only says "please scan now"
and when you do that it shits itself for no reason then the nosy filipina with an attitude in your country treats you like a tard and ultimately has to check you out at the attendant's counter because whoops it really was the machine's fault and not you>actual retards can use them.
more like actual retards made them

Case in point, a literal impulsive underage retard. Took you no time to out yourself, no wonder you're also a piece of shit in every other aspect too.
I am officially a salaryman as of today. Despite my status as 30 year old virgin I no longer feel tuned to this site. Somehow this saddens me. This site is not perfect but it is the best site I know. It is bittersweet. I wonder if graduation to wizardhood in reality is leaving this site and the internet as a whole

tons of succubi do the anxious "hi" thing because these dumb bitches think every lone male passerby on the streets is gonna rape them and their "h-hi" is some tension release trick, like when you go hi back some part of their little minds tells them the scary man really isn't gonna grab me
and especially at night, you were lucky she didn't call the cops, next time it's just you a lone succubus about to cross paths on the street…just cross the street, that's what I do, these skanks are worse than niggers and would rape hoax you without a second thought
>We're motivated by money. WritePhobia forces you to stick to your goals by charging you $1 for every day you don't write.
norms are insane. they need an app that charges them to write. and on top of that, they are paying a subscription for the privilege of being charged lol
I would be more motivated the other direction.
I hate writing but when dabbing in remote gigs I would write up a storm for slightly more then minimum wage if I broke it down by hour to pay rather then lump sum per a job.
Shit was super inconsistent so I eventually just got a normal job.
Anyway paying some random dude for this is full retard.
If someone felt the need to set something up similar then they should put the money in a savings or asset portfolio each time they don't write and they only allow themselves access to that money when the project they are working on is done.
It's both carrot and stick built into 1 + it teaches retards how to save money.

I think it's pretty silly how so many young people today complain about working for "low wages". It doesn't seem believable at all. A lot of companies pay like $12/hr in retail or even $16/hr in warehouses. I think the problem is a lot of them are spending their income in a high cost of living area like California and expect more money, or wasting it all on social activities. I would love to have that kind of income living in the Midwest.
if you are like me and need fairly constant stimulation throughout the day so you chew gum, fap, smoke, vape, drink, etc. i found something interesting called prickly ash pepper. it causes your mouth to tingle, feels like a tiny vibration. it is the weirdest shit and it only takes a single little kernel to get the effect, and you can buy a bag containing millions of those kernels for chump change. i wonder why this isnt being made into candies and stuff, it is such a fun effect
$12/hr sounds cool but barely covers the cost of modern living at any "decent" standard, and car + apartment really does suck away most of it I hear
Got fined by some fat bald cops for not wearing a damn mask. Oh well, some of my bux money is going back to the state I guess. And that'll teach me to stay the fuck away from these upper middle class neighbourhoods downtown.

Yesterday though my money was refunded so I assumed maybe there was a production error and my order couldn't have been fulfilled, so they sent the money back. I was thinking about having the internet in my hands, having all that human knowledge at my fingertips, and yet, I do nothing to learn. I came to the conclusion that I have an innate fear of losing knowledge. So I go and google it and find this and it reminded me of a wizard who typed something similarly so long ago.
>We learners are like that you know, forgetful, or has this slipped your mind? Kid's ya.
>Have you noticed we have few words for learning, although one of them is learning, but when it comes to trying to remember all one has learned, he faces a wall full of pasteurized mulching. “Remember me”, recollect, remind me, recant, recall, recount the ways, reminisce, reoccur?

Certainly there is help for the staying power of a mind grasp by the very nature of its origination, the management of its maintenance , and those who are silhouetted upon its sunset shall its value dawn on them like it did on us.
>Knowledge fades with us in our upper ages but this is similar to another who earns a doctorate that turns out to be of philosophy,Ph.D.
That paragraph about reposition and its many synonyms reminded me of the wizard who wrote a post going on and on and on and on and ON about… something. I can't remember it but he was using a lot of metaphors or similes or something. It was going on for a huge paragraph like that and it annoyed the hell out of me. Anyways, this paragraph on Quora annoyed the hell out of my. I just want to punch this person in the face now.
Oh yeah, and I'm definitely afraid of losing knowledge as it's already happened to me before. I wonder if the child's curiosity means anything if they'll forget what they were taught with their unending questions. Interesting things can sometimes stick but I fear learning things I don't care about or decided to learn about impulsively wouldn't stick. So I wonder if that little common thought is more of a fantasy than anything. I am sure there were men who constantly learned new things. I heard Hitler had his own library. I bet those men are one in a million though.
Was there a picture attached to that offending post?
why don't you admit the true reason is because you'd rather just shitpost on IBs
"innate fear of losing knowledge" lol
I'm taking a break from imageboards for a while but before I go, I'd just like to send my best wishes and thoughts to anyone out there struggling in life at the moment. I can't prove it, but I believe that we're all sort of floating around in a murky pool of water, at different points and elevations in the pool depending on our individual circumstance. Some people get a bit more light from the world above surface, while some are really in pitch darkness. But the light DOES exist above, even if you've never even seen a glimmer of it, and (this is not an attempt to convert or argue, it's just a statement of belief) I believe my God YHVH plans on emptying the pool and bringing us all into the light soon, and when that happens even the Wizards that were lost long ago will be restored to us, and our time in the pool will all be explained to us - why one anon was stuck at the bottom for so long, and why another anon was stuck somewhere else, etc. When everything is revealed to us, there will be no fear or loneliness or lack of connection, and we'll see that as bad as things were, it was worth it for where we'll then be. Best wishes!
Some random, mostly upbeat, music for you:https://youtu.be/fK0_PVaF8Pghttps://youtu.be/Scpdj90Z5Nwhttps://youtu.be/3dUbtrTU-1Uhttps://vimeo.com/155061743https://youtu.be/UYdbqdWEKz8
>dad was going shopping this evening
>decided to go with him because I wanted to buy shit, too
>first stop is a Canadian Tire
>hear some kid talking loudly when we pass a truck
>couldn't really understand what he was saying, nor did I really take notice if he was alone
>think he was saying something about pizza
>dad and I ignore it and just walk on, as we dunno if the kid was telling at us for something or something else
>truck wasn't there when we came out
>we say how weird it is
>still slightly weirds me out, as we were nowhere near a pizzeria nor did we have pizza on us (nor pizza themed clothing)
Kids love pizza, trucks, and shouting. He was probably just happy to be out of the house.

You're not a wizard if you use Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll gives me so much cancer it's unbearable.
Why would anyone use such a site when anime can be had for free just as easily?
Even if you wanted to financially support anime studios the money that goes to crunchyroll doesn't go to them. You would be better off buying licensed merch or dvd sets.
You're not even human if you use Crunchyroll. It's for braindead subhumans like normalfag irony bros and zoomers.
I don't like to pirate things but I also hate Crunchyroll so I just don't watch anime anymore. No new shows interest me regardless. I have tens of thousands in the bank but I'm not buying DVDs either.
On a completely unrelated note, my day consisted of posting on this site and watching videos of people driving through the worst neighborhoods in the United States. I have a growing morbid fascination with America's decaying cities just like succubi are obsessed with serial killers.
I think I may need to take a break from this site. I'm posting an awful lot and that's usually a sign that my mental health is deteriorating.
also old versions of anymex are basically crunchyroll with improvements like MAL integration
full moon today is really making people lose their shit in my town, how has it been where you are?
sitting outside relaxing
bees flying around
they like to stop and hover a few inches from my face
was worried they would try to fly in my nose or ears or something but nothing like that's happened in over an hour
when they get close enough you can feel the air being pushed downward, in that way and the noise they make, they kind of sound like tiny drones
wonder if flapping drones will be a thing anytime soon
did you hear that kaminsky person croaked from the fake vaccine? another funny coincidence
those weren't bees bro
Totally and completely normal in every way.
Famous Indian comedian was campaigning for the vaccine. He got the shot and died the next day. They're protesting about it in India right nowhttps://twitter.com/GreatGameIndia/status/1383286864132542464
>>266962> I just don't want to give covid to my family
lol, oh man…
it's up to them to get vaccinated if they are at risk.
They won't get the vaccine so I have to be the guinea pig. All of my college-educated family have received the vaccine and the rest have not. Make of that what you will.
what is it called when a word's letters are alphabetically sorted? a sorted word?
for example in 'Ghost', all the letters are in alphabetical order
wonder what the longest such word is
It would probably be really easy to program something that would solve that supposing you had a dictionary of all English words to use as input.
conformists are more likely to get vaccinated? a lot of people on the internet are bragging about getting vaccinated to get approval from the "trust science!!!" morons
I have a college degree and I'm not getting vaccinated until I really have to. I'm perfectly happy letting everyone else take it first.
This vax is the mark of the beast. No way am I taking it.
yeah, ill have a look at dictionaries later today to find something
I looked it up and apparently the longest alphabetical word is Aegilops, which is a genus of grass.
yeah just confirmed using https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dwyl/english-words/master/words.txt
i get these as the longest 10
I just saw an owl attack the racoon that lives in a tree outside my window. He was on his way down from his hole when it attacked but it made it back up into the hole. I wonder if the owl is still watching and waiting for him to come down again.
I'll probably be taking it too. I don't think covid is a huge risk and is bullshit, so my only reasons are:
- I'm suicidal.
- My father is going to be taking it, so if I die or things go to shit for me, at least I'll be his canary in the coal mine.
>>267047>canary in the coal mine.
things don't work that way, individual bodies respond differently to most things out there, aul da could keel over tomorrow but your death takes 5 years to develop, with increasingly worse pain and debilitating mutations
anyone else wondered about this whole "steven with a PH" deal? the name stephen is pronounced steh-fen, but everyone says steven, including all the parents who ever put "stephen" on a birth certificate, if they're going to call their kid steven why didn't they just name him steven instead? and nobody talks about how weird it is that a society does this mixed spelling/pronunciation with that name
it's really dumb and weird
funny, 4 hours ago I was listening to a podcast about stephen king.
There's a thing in the US about dumbing down everything so there is as little room for error as possible because people arrived to the country from a zillion different places and cultures.
So Stephen king is just Steven King. Jacqueline becomes Jackie, Edward is just Ed.
It's surprising a nation like this actually managed to elect Barack Obama, but it helps people can just pronounce it "Brock". I'm convinced some backwater people think it's Brock anyway.
it goes deeper than nicknaming, it's just an american curiosity
a person decides how their kid's name is pronounced. you can't just say it's pronounced 'steh fen', because for most people it isn't. it was probably a trend long ago and the name got popular by a celebrity or something, baby names are weird like that
I have my CDC vaccination record thing now. It's been several hours and I haven't died yet. I feel normal aside from injection site pain, headache and a burning sensation in my chest that appear at random for minutes at a time and then go away.
The changes have begun.
Getting hair in strange places
Always thought ASMR was dumb.
Some writer I kinda follow submitted a script to be read by one of those guys as a audio role play. I hate to admit it but it was pretty nice.
Fell down the audio role play rabbit hole.
I mean on the one hand I know most is just content for sad lonely normies that can't get their needs for companionship met in more conventional ways.
But on the other hand it kinda feels good emotionally (idk what the fuck ASMR people are talking about when it comes to tingles or whatever) and the scripts can be pretty fun imagination falter. Like one serie I listened to where you befriend a cosmic horror abomination summoned just to hang out. Which was funny.
Will admit far too many seem to cater to submissive simps who want to softly be dominated by a female more powerful then them. Which I am not a fan of.
Like every single one of the vampire ones just turned out to be soft dom shit.
Guess that is what pays though.
Finding more adventure based ones is hard but they are out there with a few thousand views if I hunt hard enough.
Love that they all have really good mixing and audio equipment. Even the tiny channels sound good.
i dont get asmr because if the choice is either music or weird whispering sounds, im going with my oud music any day
I like audiobooks, readings, podcast, radio dramas, etc so I guess it isn't that far of a jump for me. Still don't get the whisper thing and don't listen to those if it's all whispering unless there is plot reasons for it.
dumb parents and what "most people" think doesn't change the fact that stephen isn't steven, those people are just plain stupid and illiterate
>>267139>those people are just plain stupid and illiterate
So? Most people are. The choices are to 1. deal with or 2. deal with it.
Probably the same guy who gets pissed off at the word flammable.
ow my knee
what's a good medicine for flammed joints?
Ibuprofen is my go-to for inflammation.
prescriptive vs descriptive
neither is right but at least with descriptive you can understand that language changes on the whim of retards and for no good reason
>>267167>neither is right
only if you seriously think the letters P and H are sounded out as V (they aren't), I guess I should've expected dumb relativist answers like this, what a moronic time to live in, people will look at you with a straight face and go "you don't get to say" that stephen isn't pronounced bob, steven, joe, or whatever the parents decided
god please end it soon
oh don't act like english has concrete rules for the way all the letters sound in every word, let alone names. There are so many fucking exceptions.
there are plenty of languages out there that don't have a 'ph' or 'f' spellings for stephen. if you want to research the etymology and stuff post your findings
EPH=eev isn't one of them>>267196
we're not talking about other languages
Unfortunately, you either get ASMR or you don't. If you don't know whether or not you get ASMR, you don't have ASMR. A lot of people that don't get ASMR still watch the content b/c they are touch starved or horny or lonely, and that skews the numbers of views and likes for ASMR content. We8rd stuff is definitely more successful. I mean, if you had to choose between watching "tapping on lids" or "alien vampire taps on lids from another dimension" you would be more likely to click on the second video, even though, in terms of ASMR stuff, there is no difference. Especially if there is a hot succubus in the thumbnail. Also, obviously, succubi have a huge advantage in ASMR, since no straight man wants to listen to some guy whisper in his ear for several hours. I'm pretty sure female ASMRtists are more popular among both male and female audiences, so it isn't just a sex thing. These biases (weird vs. mundane and female vs. male), despite not being related to ASMR quality, define the characteristics of the modern ASMR community. Of course, I don't mean to criticize people that enjoy ASMR content for non-ASMR reasons, but they do influence the number of likes and search rankings.
Another factor that might influence the gender ratio of ASMR is the common cultural construct that succubi are more compassionate and nurturing (versus insensitive, violent), which could mean that succubi are more likely to produce (unmasculine) ASMR content. I prefer female ASMRtists (perhaps due to deeply ingrained admonitions against male intimacy), but Dr. T is an exception to the rule.
ASMR (and associated tingles) is a real thing though, even though most people don't experience it. I had described ASMR to friends before ASMR was officially discovered by science, and they acted like I was completely insane. It was ~20 years after my earliest memories of ASMR that I learned that it was an officially recognized phenomenon. Like, there were whispered conversations where my scalp just lit up. A lot of people compare ASMR to sex, but obviously I cannot compare.
If you want emotional comfort, try Ozley. If you want cosmic horror, try Mother Macabre. If you want adventure, try Amy Kay.
>>267213>no straight man wants to listen to some guy whisper in his ear for several hours
I love male whispering though, it puts me to sleep so quick, especially foreign language whispered by a male, it just calms me down
Languages influence each other. English itself is basically "Latin + French + Norse + other Germanic and Romance languages mashed together"
I guess you're implying that means foreign language pronunciation takes over in the case of stephen, and there's some place where it's pronounced steven, and that's supposed to explain everything? well it doesn't
this is america and we speak english
if you can't explain the stephen thing just admit it's weird and people are dumb, don't gimme this convoluted shit about english roots and relativity theory
Except in most southern states, where your Hispanics speak Spanish. And New Orleans, where they speak French. And Hawaii, where they speak Hawaiian. And New York, where they speak Yiddish.
Browsing IBs > learning something new. I still fear losing knowledge though. All that work for goddamn nothing. At least image boards don't disappoint.

Not sure if devlish or saintly. Blackouts do tend to bring families closer together. Even if they didn't though still punish those normalfags

How old are you?
What is your ethnic background?
Depending on age it could be entirely different causes of your trouble.
Same with ethnic groups.
It also takes most people awhile the first time growing a beard for it not to look like patchy garbage.
Lucky for you you can hide your beard's ugly duckling phase with face mask as it grows in.
This should be made into a banner.

I am struggling to think of why in the world you would think it in any way would work like that.
No, that is absurd.
>Can massive wind farms help prevent another dust bowl?
How would that even work? You are being silly.

I thought I'd just come back to lurk and this is my 4th post in an hour or so.
Every time I interact with other people I suck, it ruins my concentration, I feel very anxious. I love other people very much! Maybe more than anything but everyone treats me in ways I can't imagine treating another person, understandably because I am in the wrong, and there are things I like or that I think are important that don't require human interaction, so I think solitude is the logical conclusion. I feel like giving up on something very important but it feels immensely free too. I think I'm making a mistake and I'm very sorry.

The thirst for attention is too strong.
NO FUCK YOU, GODDAM YOU'RE SUCH A FUCKING IDIOT HOLY SHIT, HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO PHENOMENALLY RETARDED?
Yama no Susume 2 it's the best anime
Sorry, I'll definitely quit imageboards now, and live the rest of my life in absolute silence.
I wish very much I could be like or with everyone else. I wish I could have spent my childhood drawing and learning programming.
I'm very afraid. Goodbye.
I used to think there was no such thing as a stupid question until today.
I want to go out but it's one of these sunny and warm spring days where there is an unusually high amount of people outside: whole families, kids, old geezers, lycra-clad tryhard cyclists, wannabe marathon runners, dogs, unbearably loud automobiles and motorcycles and all the masked retards (mostly couples, oddly enough). It should not make me so angry and anxious but I cannot help it.
Which is better, spending your life uncovering the truths about the universe or spending your life (or ending it) trying to maximize comfort and avoid pain? Note that the person in question is in a miserable, financially unstable situation. You can only choose one. You cannot choose to establish a good life first before doing the first choice as ensuring stability requires perpetual work so you won't have any time or energy left to study the universe.
What if I told you if you keep uncovering secrets of the universe you will reach a certain revelation that would make your life comfortable and most of your misery gone? To reach it you have to stop seeking.
I don’t know what that means.
>Have all these thoughts about what I'm going to do when I get out of wageslave job and it's the weekend. E.g., games I want to play.
>Weekend hits. I suddenly don't want to play those games.
>End up indecisive about what I want to do for hours or even days. Instead trawl about doing jack-all until I "decide what I want to do."
>Any time I tell myself "Well, I could get X out of the way…" is thrown out the window because, "This is the only day I have to relax! I can't waste it on that!"
>End up neither getting anything done nor relaxing.
Why do I do this? How can I stop?
I expect that there is assumption behind this that some sort of academic activity can uncover significant truth rather than consist of paperwork, teaching and begging for funding. So I will certainly say comfort
I want to start working but only because I feel like being a NEET is causing me to age at an accelerated pace and develop early-onset dementia. The phrase "use it or lose it" applies to the human brain and body.
I hear everyone's too busy fiddling their dicks and collecting unemployment to work so now is time to strike.
>>267679>Instead trawl about doing jack-all
What exactly do you do? Youtube and imageboards?
You can stimulate your mind and exercise without being a wageslave.
The unemployment rate only went up by 0.1% in April, but of course the media will freak out and try to make it seem like nobody wants to work.
But realistically you won't do these things and instead exist in a near-vegetative state in front of a computer screen for years at a time.
This is a debate that goes back to the "NEET vs wagie" days of 4chan. Personally, I don't see how not working is an issue. The only alternative to NEETdom is a lifetime of wageslavery. I don't see how getting a job would be preferable to doing your own thing, whatever it may be. You just have to pick your poison and deal with the consequences.
>>267699>the media will freak out and try to make it seem like nobody wants to work
People want to work? Or, a better question is: a majority of people want to work?
Oh yeah I forgot, most people are held at gunpoint to work. It's not like they can survive any other way.
I honestly don't know. I think I just sort of faff about looking at a game or book collection for hours on end.
still beats working
what revelation? that everything is fated and the gnostics were right? there's no beautiful truth waiting at the end of studying things, only more shit
natural born wizard, you're invisible to succubi irl.
Wait, if 3rd percentile is "Kinda Short," then what is "Really Short?"
Anyway, don't sweat it. While you are abnormally short compared to other men, 5' 4" is actually the median height for succubi, which should put you above the 25th percentile for adults in general.
Though, if you want to be exactly normal height for your sex…
