I've been doing exactly that for the past 4~ years.
The foundation of it is realizing that what normals tell you is a complete lie every single time, usually out of pure stupidity.
If you follow their lead or "advice" you will always end up worse off even if they are your own parents that "care" about you.

You need to put in actual, real, practical, physical effort into this though. You can't just "will" it to happen.
To improve my capabilities for manipulation and deepen my sociopathy I've been talking to people on chatroulette/ omegle daily. Started of by asking them to show me their microwaves, many would with some convincing. Then I moved on to crafting intricate lies about myself, pretending to be a surgeon in training or an air traffic controller.
Fart-sniffing normalcattle like to go on about how "charisma is a state of mind". That's a complete lie due to ignorance. It's a raw skill that can be honed, as physical as a steel blade.

Before this I couldn't even comprehend why people say "good morning" to each other even when they are together more at work than apart every single day. Seemed like a stupid triviality. I still don't understand it at all, but I also don't understand or care for English grammar rules, yet I am using both just fine.

In conclusion, remember you don't need to lie, but know that soft lies and half lies are fine as long you aren't harming people and you aren't escalating too much because lies have short legs.

I have been very contemplative my entire life, trying to understand the "deeper" meaning of the things that normals tell me. Clearly, if their lives are marginally better there is something I can learn from the older and "wiser"? It is not the case. And you can't figure things out by pure thought in a vacuum either.
Only way to progress towards your particular goal is to DO. Steamrolling and suppressing all occurrences of thought that are not entirely concerned with the practical solutions to practical problems. Callousness comes together with discarding useless thought, including as to how it would make others "feel". All that matters is the shortest route towards what you want, which may include manipulating people as just another solvable obstacle.
