Would society be better if becoming a wizard were encouraged? If virginity were socially accepted and encouraged, and sex were seen by everyone as gross and animalistic, would our world become better, more free of desire?
People would still crave wealth and power and to crush their enemies both real and perceived.
If anything without sexuality humanity’s focus would become even more powerful and laser focused towards it’s other self destructive tendencies such as the afforementioned.
We’d soon have a society even more full of cruel, heartless Gordon Gecko Jew archetypes whose only motivation in life is sheckel generation at all costs than there already is.
>If virginity were socially accepted and encouraged, and sex were seen by everyone as gross and animalistic that was how it was for like 2000 years, when christianity was encouraged
>>160801 I'd argue the exact opposite. A lot of men crave wealth and power solely because of female desires. Their wives want more money/resources, which drives a lot of men to work much harder than they otherwise would have. It's why a lot of companies and organizations look for men that have a ring on their finger when they hire them: they know those men are driven. If being wizard were encouraged, we'd see a lot of female-driven greed become a thing of the past as such an anti-sex revolution would take hold. Female expectations would diminish similarly, and what's left of male-female relations would probably be a lot more stable, monogamous relationships and wouldn't be as suitable to the feminist agenda. Population growth rates would not only be low, but incredibly negative, for two reasons: one is that obviously if more people have less sex then there are less babies, and second is that if you're a parent you're going to have expectations that your child is not going to procreate. This leads to a greater resource demand per child, but not on all children in general (to clarify: a smaller total nominal figure on childcare, but a larger figure per capita on childcare), as the few who do have sex are going to be more proportionally likely to have had sex because they want children, which means that they are more likely to spend resources on them. Furthermore, in most non-U.S. cultures it is considered acceptable (if not obvious) that the child does not move out of the home if they are not planning to have kids. If such cultural forces are still in play, then this would also lead to comfier arrangements for wizards as wizards would essentially have their lifestyle without as high parental pressures to mate or have kids. On the flipside, without such greed and massive motivation, economic well-being from a consumerist perspective would be much, much smaller. Although from a societal perspective, we'd probably be O.K. with that as we'd have a much more relaxed lifestyle, though.
>>160797 Celibacy is my choice and I am happy for anyone who can find any happiness in their life. Repressing desires to fit in would objectively make things worse in my opinion. Having a society where people are more empathetic to world views that aren't their own is what I would advocate for.
>>161389 Normies will always slander what is truly pure and holy. Notice the societal praise modern-day cardinals got (before the scandals). When the church stops being a leading force of culture, and conforms itself to be praised by society, being submissive to the masses rather than dominating it, then the filth will begin to enter from within.
In the middle ages, the church was certain of itself, dominant, an outlet of culture, and pure. That being said, some corrupt retards will always screw things up and abuse their positions of power. On this Earth, the sinful will always exist, the sinful will be praised by the world, while the truly righteous are for the most part ignored and slandered. (except the the public heroes who are manifest their greatness)
>>161440 Sadly, even Hegel (who was also an enormous christfag) would disagree on your "historical" view of society, not to mention your argument as a whole. People are no longer forced to capitulate to the church. Get the fuck over it. It isn't an inherent indication of some sort of decline, it just means that people are deciding to form their own set of values which aren't based on a bullshit system of transcendental metaphysics.
Normalfags are always going to be attracted to succubi. Alphas and betas both have different reasons —having no control over sexual desires and self hatred respectively— for having sex.
It would be enough to remove the stigma around virginity. I wouldn't want to inflict a stigma on the sex-havers as retribution. That would be unnecessarily cruel. IMO, a gradual voluntary decline of human population, cushioned by the comforts of automation and simulation, would be more pleasant than the continued destructive, insane scrambling of advanced society. Sadly, as long as it is profitable to program ever-increasing hordes of human robots to chase the carrot on a stick the owners won't relent. The show will continue until the stage breaks under the weight of the players. Then the apes who survived will build a new stage and resurrect the play in sickly imitation of the previous version. It repeats until the forest that provided the wood for the stages is finally exhausted. Then the stages will be built from the bones of the dead, consuming all until there is nothing. Painful path to paradise.
>>161362 >It's why a lot of companies and organizations look for men that have a ring on their finger when they hire them You are absolutely right, sir
That's the way it used to be. Everyone is a slave to their desires now. Talking about breeding used to be really taboo. Monks, wizards, hermits were respected everyone except by really low-class people who had nothing to live for themselves. The Church became weak and tainted after Vatican II and we are living in Sodom ever since.
no, they are just using it to exploit sex even harder, desire doesn`t go away by the lack of the act rather its been amplified and virgins are fed virtual vices, simulations in a world of ethots, internet porn addiction, waifus, furfags, and so on. Its way more degenerate, more enslaved to low impulses and mentally unstable than a society were most have healthy sex lives. You can`t really spend 12 hours straight fapping to fetish and gore images and then pretend you are A benedictian monk, it doesn´t work like that.
Yes, sex should be forbidden and persecuted by law That way we would eliminate many avoidable conflicts within society, and artificial reproduction would allow us to select only suitable genes for the following generations, making sure that only people who win at life get born and leaving us poor souls who are unfit for this world in the peace and quiet of non-existence
Yes, just because technology has made human labor redundant and we're all about to die as a result of human overpopulation. Anything we can do to curb overpopulation would make the world a better place.
>>160797 Obviously, It would be better for wizards and worse for everyone else. It is only natural to want to invert the status quo of nature for those who are on the bottom of the social ladder, but anyone who would seriously ask this question is severely lacking in self-awareness and common sense - a mutual trait among most wizards including myself to some extent so I certainly can't blame you.
>>162634 >You can always kill yourself anytime you want to What makes you think i'm not planning to? >Leave society from your problems I just described a way to take away my problems from society Why are you getting so pissy?
>>160797 It would be better if we weren't raised on false hopes of finding "that one special succubus" to begin with. Becoming a wizard is probably just a natural course of things for most here but I'd wager many are still tormented by the longing for this idea of pure teen love that blossoms into an emotional bond for life. There are no such happy endings in real life and the princesses young boys are taught to fall for don't exist.
>>162925 >>162927 >>162931 He didn't do any of those things and he's clearly talking in condemnation of those people who do The only thing more pathetic than an internet moderator tripping on the little power he has is a non-moderator getting a kick at the thought of being one
>>160801 I can see that. Ever since I stopped pursuing succubi and stopped masturbating I have been obsessed with investments and finance. After I pay off my credit card I am going to try and put what I have read about into action.
>>162949 Considering the fact that I am a kissless virgin, I am not sure if I can say I ever pursued them to begin with. Still, my original statement stands. I can see people pursuing things like money or power instead.
