Has any other of you a wizard because is too childish for their age, I am 25 and for the most i almost think as i am 10, also i spend most of the time thinking about when i was a child and freaking out cause i dont know how i will end up!

 No.183897

yeah but I think I'm actually a bit mentally retarded so it explains a bit, people always talk to me like they would a child or a retarded person so it all adds up

 No.183901

ive recently embraced that im a retard and abandoned all pretentious pretense that i used to have.
i tried very hard to be mature and have mature and intellectual interests, but now that i've accepted im likely intellectually 11 years old, ive been watching Naruto all day and play Digimon and Tamagotchi.
i nobrain meditate and sleep throughout some of the day, too. this one is unconscious. i just have no drive anymore since ive accepted im useless and retarded.

no, im a pretty unique guy in that ive never played any of the console games or seen any of the digimon anime. The thing that interested me most about digimon was the virtual pets. i own the translucent purple digimon 20, and the digimon vital bracelet. i just got impmon in the mail today, he's my favorite.

i'll proabbly watch Tamers, Ghost Game and play world eventually. the digimon designs are very appealing to me so it's probably a natural next step to take.
lol wizchan users should look at Wizardmon.

I've been playing a pokemon rip off game lately called Nexomon and Nexomon Extinction, ever heard of them, they seem like typical pokemon clones with decent sprite graphics, can't say I have many opinions of the ame since I just started playing them myself, I heard people say they're just like Pokemon but on non-nintendo consoles/PC.

You're doing nothing wrong OP. I'm 31 and I feel I can relate more to random children who love playing Pokémon and asking questions like why does the world exist over some boring and soulless so-called "adult stuff". Growing up is a meme.

 No.183969

>>183966
Some thoughts on the picture:
I think growing up means becoming numb is a way.
When you're young everything is fascinating and you are probably naive too, don't know how evil the real world is.
Then you become a social activist kind of person, have big dreams, want to save the world, thinking it is something to be fixed.
Then you become an adult, time already has a piece of you, you understand how the world works and also have the experience to understand the world was like this from the very beginning.
So now the only one question left?
How do you want to live your life from now on?
For me I want to live on my own terms.
I still have dreams, realistic dreams I want to achieve in my short life.
Wish I'd realized this sooner, I'm 29

Considering he capitalized it too, I think it’s more likely he is phoneposting and it got autocorrected.

 No.183982

I was thinking about this today on the background. I think I do come across as childish for my age. Or, I'm not sure, but I don't feel adult at times, at least. And, some people mistake me for a teenager. Some weeks or months ago I bought beer at a store, and the cashier said something like: "the youth these days…". Or, maybe he was making fun of me, being an adult but dressed like a teenager. (I don't know whether I was dressed like a teenager though: I wore shorts, a t-shirt and sneakers) Who knows? But the guy was probably 10 years younger than me, actually.

Part of it may be because I refuse (up to a point) to look at interests, behavior, style in terms of something being adult or childish. What matters is whether I enjoy it or not; the thing itself, and not what is associated with it.

Then perhaps not hitting the milestones a normal person is supposed to hit contributes to that as well. Also my physical appearance is not very rugged either and I think being tall (which im not) could contribute to not feeling as childish.

 No.183983

>>183982
I am tall and still get treated like a child, I think most people just expect anyone over 25 to be fat/balding/rough and if you're not they just think you're young

Well, obviously they wouldnt have had such an extreme reaction if I looked 26. The main thing is my immediate appearance made them think I was their peer, but in actuality I had at least 7 years on every single one. You are not a wizard.

 No.185255

I think I already posted in this thread but I just wanted to say again I feel like a childish retard to everyone else, I want to embrace it too but I dont want to "go back" to what I had as a child, rather keep up to date and do what children are doing currently, going back to old things would just make me an old nostalgic person

 No.185304

I don't know if it makes sense or if there is any study on it, but I remember a wizard once saying that many of us feel like children because we don't go through the rituals of teen/adult life (carnal rituals like kissing and having sex or social rituals such as having a driver's license and owning a house).

 No.185305

>>185304
I think this is true and why rule 1 is so important to wizchan, I bet the more restriction you add the more childish adults you will find, like people who never had a relationship ever, who never had a job, never had friends, etc. cause even here there are varying levels of childishness with some people here having their own houses and stuff

 No.185418

I am 24 but i look like im 40 but act like im 12 so people think i am a mentally retarded man.

 No.185435

I really feel like I stopped developing at about 12. I suffered some trauma around that time, so I guess it's a very real possibility my brain got screwed up. Oh well. Can't say I particularly want to "grow up" anyway. It's other people and all of their bizarre rituals and expectations that make me unhappy.

 No.185480

 No.185481

>>185304
Like most wizards I've never even attempted any of that shit, the sex/relationship shit goes without saying, but I've never even tried to drive. Part of it is a crippling anxiety but the other is that I've always just assumed I'd eventually kill myself so why bother trying to do anything anyway. Sure I keep putting it off but the more time goes by the less I'm able to bullshit reasons to keep myself alive.

I genuinely didn't learn most grammar properly until I started posting online a lot. Not because I couldn't learn, but because I had no interest, and it all seemed like needless ritual to me. I wouldn't use punctuation marks or proper capitalisation at all, because I just didn't care and couldn't see the point. I would always write the version of a letter that I liked, rather than the one that was correct, so my sentences were full of random capitals just sprinkled wherever. My attitude was that as long as I could read it, that was good enough, and teachers are annoying for asking me otherwise.

same, it was worse with the masks on though, lowered my looks-age from possibly around 19-20 to 15-16 year old. I had an embarrassing doctor visit a couple months ago where I was getting buttered up like I was a shy kid before she asked what grade I’m in, felt awkward being told I’m a growing boy and such and such when I’m 26, even if I’m mentally stunted

 No.188563

Im 26 and in college, everyone else in my class is 18. I've revealed my true age a few times to different people and each time they are completely surprised. One guy outright said "I thought you were 18". I don't know what it is. Maybe it's because I'm chubby, or I haven't known physical hardship, and that makes me look young. There is one 21 year old chad in the class and he definitely looks older in my eyes than the rest. But as I said he is a chad (in good shape) so maybe that makes his features more defined.

 No.188565

I’m the same age and get the same reaction, I think if you’re wiz you just age less because you’re not constantly partying and ruining your body with drugs and sun rays, also if you have poor social skills your demeanor makes people assume you’re younger and more plus is your clothing if you still dress like a teenager instead of an adult

I would say I still am really innocent regarding "adult stuff", it's like if normalfags somehow had some sort of life's handbook (tm) by default so they already know about taxes, bills, laws, social and adult stuff about what I am clueless and am not interested in anyways. I guess I am not neurotypical.

I remember I even got bullied in school at age 10-11 because I didn't know what masturbation was. Apparently everybody knew about it, these kids were obsessed with football (soccer) players and sex jokes, I just wanted to play Pokémon 24/7 and reading fantasy books. Today, I feel like an alien when I see what people from my generation (in their 30s) talk about.

Like it was said already here, growing up is a lie, a meme. It means accepting your "destiny" as a robot who only knows how to socialize, reproduce and wageslave. Anything that is seen as "destructive" to this corrupt system we have is labeled as childish. Pathetic.
