I want to talk about cute pastel ponies with other virgin men. After 13 years online, it's time for Wizardchan to have its first dedicated My Little pony thread. Unfortunately the cartoon general 404'd, but nevertheless I think MLP is enough of a broad subject to discuss in its own thread. Please keep clop to /b/ or whatever. If it needs to be censored under Japanese law, it shouldn't be on /hob/. Also note that My Little Pony is serious business so you will get flamed if you post a bad pony or bad artist.

Recently I learned to love Friendship Is Magic and also much of the series that predate it. I actually hated it when I was a teenager (without even giving it a chance) because all of a sudden it was everywhere and I felt it had a lot of overlap with furries - the niggers of the internet. I took pride in never seeing even 10 seconds of the show by the time it ended. I decided to dip my toes in to it a few years back and now I really regret barring myself from it for so long. There were some periods in my life where I really needed the catharsis of CGDCT, but my canteen of applicable anime had run dry. I think of all the fun I could have had as a young adult with other bronies online, and how belonging to a group of fellow nerdy young guys online could have been good for me (not that I didn't turn out perfect anyway). Instead of dwelling on what could have been, I instead overall feel great after having watched the series and learning to love it, while also learning that the community is still thriving. It also seems that the undesirable people have proudly "outgrown" the fandom, so no more furries!

G5 was bad and I am not looking forward to G6!
