What do you guys think of Prison Planet Theory ?
Some people are so fed up with suffering on earth, so they came up with this theory to cope with reality
personally I think it kind of overlaps with the wizards philosophy
there is even a subreddit dedicated to it
https://www.reddit.com/r/EscapingPrisonPlanet/and people seriously thinks they are prisoner in this planet
and thats their energy is being harvested by aliens

I believe more than 80% of the Earth's population should be sent to prison.

Stop using this as proof of your topic's significance. There's a subreddit for everything.

>>226320I think it doesnt go far enough, its not just the earth that is the prison but this entire universe and this dimension.
I often wonder if there are other worlds out there in space that have intelligent life and I wonder what their societies might look like but the thing is the rules and limitations must exist everywhere so every other place if it exists is probably as much of a shithole as this planet is.
so we are trapped in this universe forever.

I do believe this but I bring it a step further: our own body is a prison
Whatever created humanity did not make so with good intention we live in a limited achy environment requiring constant effort in order to just survive. I would argue our planet is a prison we cannot escape because space travel is impossible for us, our country is a prison we cannot escape because there are borders controls, our body is a prison we cannot escape because suicide is difficult and painful.
To make things worse humans invented prisons within the prison, to the point they chemically lobotomize you with psychiatry if you don't behave according to the majority.

The very material mechanics of the universe exist in such a way to seemingly necessitate struggle and death for any living organism. As such, it would seems that the aliens would need to exist outside of our material world, in which case I would question why they need to create us in the first place to suffer? They are seemingly immensely powerful already as is. It seems these redditors are just placing a sci-fi spin on Gnosticism.

I am pretty sure it's a prison.
The fact that you almost cannot properly survive without neglect in the current system without obeying is enough fact.
It's all about chasing money in the end and we are all slaves to this concept, there is no escape if you are not willin to sacrifice yourself

It's just another pseudo-spiritual scam like simulation theory or astrology.
You don't need all this kind of stuff, if you comprehend there is some kind of immaterial ghost trapped inside of the bodies of animals and humans, things will make sense.
If you like thinking about this you better read Plato instead of wasting your time with this crap.
Socrates spoke about this soul of beings when he was about to die.

If you have to work 8 hours a day to evade homelessness, you guessed it.
And nearly every fucking human alive on this planet is being farmed by said Rothschilds, Habsburgs, Grosvenors and Medici descendants and their cadet branches.
Most prisoners have to accept working for $1-10 an hour or face starving to death.

The worst thing is that humanity doesn't recognize his status of prisoner but truly believes that consuming all resources of the planet is something we must do in order to "progress" towards general well-being. Imagine a prison run by prisoners, this is what earth has become, and when resources run out there will be famine and misery everywhere.
