When you watch, read or listen to something, do you prefer to avoid that something's subject matter being humans? I assume most if not all here share a dislike for NORPs/normalscum/NPCs, yet it was occurring to me that it is odd that I should make an exception for my dislike of them when it comes to fiction. Obviously I think our dislike of normal people comes from who they are rather than what they are, so I think sufficiently weird humans like ourselves, or aliens with human appearance, aren't necessarily excluded. It doesn't necessarily need to be restricted to fiction either, people who mainly engage with the animal world, or impersonal sciences, strike me as commendably unengaged with the broader mass of humankind. But I'm most interested, I would say, in those here who do engage with things involving normal people and how they reconcile that with who they are and their beliefs.

since you are different from all other humans, what do you think of humans? do you see yourself as one?

Oh no I am enjoying a media with normies in it even though I make hating normies my identity! What will the invisible audience judging my actions think of me now?

The inner critic is yet an audience, the lower and higher consciousnesses audiences of one another, and in all cases it is good to strive towards one's own ideals and to keep oneself in check in pursuit of these.

they dislike normies as in people here don't think about them or interact with them
neets play video games or do other solitary activities without thinking about society or normies at all

The irony of the image is hilarious.

Humans are great, they build the internet and stuff.
Without humans we would not be discussing this here.
What I dislike is bland grey stuff that they make to the normies that is now everywhere.
Besides that, you can enjoy anything if you ignore the status quo or that you are silently being watched and judged by someone, even if this someone is yourself.

I actually struggle with this and barely ever finished any sort of video game/tv show/movie etc.
I tried getting into anime even though I never had any interest in it throughout my life because I liked the idea of it being a completely foreign language and strictly 2d. Definitely helped a bit, easier to digest, but my mind wanders and sometimes I start thinking about the people behind the thing I'm consuming and their intentions and it makes me sick more often than not.
