A young man shows up to class early to the mild amusement of other young people… How is that embarrassing? The only takeaway any of them could possibly have from that situation is "That guy showed up a little early, but it as a bit too early". If they're in a position where they're taking lectures alongside hundreds of others, they're probably so stripped of basic human interaction and enrichment that they'd find any minuscule interruption of their mundane routine to be funny. You must live quite the cloistered life if that's your biggest social slip-up. This is such a silly reason to feel embarrassed enough to take in to adulthood, that the actual admittance of your strong feelings to a small group of anonymous guys online is more shameful. The concept of this thread is more embarrassing than what you've described in it. I'm laughing at you, OP. All 200 of us are.
