Learned helplessness. Unlearn it. Or if you're young and spent most of your youth sitting in a concrete school room, of course you don't know how to start things on your own because school doesn't teach that at all. It's normal to not know how to approach things you've never done before. It's also normal to observe how others approach new things and to learn by example. It's especially normal, like guilded purple aura legendary normgroid tier normal, to just tackle new challenges head on and learn as you go using your basic human skills of reasoning and deduction. You'll hit brick walls and get lost along the way, but that too is normal. What's not normal is to whittle yourself down in to feeling like a helpless little Miotoddler. You have nothing to lose in trying to be your own Ritsu.

Guidance is just knowledge and knowledge is always available on the Internet. Back in the day, we just Google'd questions or read a manual, but now you can just ask AI and it will spoon-feed you on literally any topic in existence, help you diagnose problems, help you brainstorm ideas, etc. Hell, it might even be able to do most of the work for you. It's a micro-skill on its own but it makes a lot of difference. People that I know that got good at anything didn't just wait around for someone to teach them, they actively went out seeking information anywhere they can find it. We live in the information age, use the privilege and stop being so helpless.
