How do you deal with extreme public humiliation and a destroyed reputation? Shits suicide fuel

 No.308815

you don't. if you were lucky to have a good combo of genes and nurture, you just learn to not give a fuck. otherwise you just watch yourself rot from within

 No.308818

I got on the bus a few weeks ago and I lost my balance when it started accelerating and I sat down on an asian succubus's lap, don't know why I always get these cringe moments

Well i give a fuck, and thinking about it is killing me from the inside. Its difficult not to have it on my mind constantly, knowing what i had before and knowing what i wont have in the future
>>308818
That sort of stuff happens, that specific case wasnt too severe. Hell, if your attractive enough it might even have been something positive.

 No.308822

just move somewhere else.

 No.308825

>>308822
The answer is often move yet I assume people are too poor to do so.

 No.308834

I used to move and change jobs every year and that cleaned the slate.

Lately I just make it my personality: unreliable goof.

Lately, I've been thinking more and more about how many people take the concept of genetic determinism too rigidly. Perhaps this is true of any form of determinism in general — the fact that a significant part (or everything) of this life is predetermined by factors beyond your control shouldn't really impact your experience as a subject. Essentially, your "awareness" is just one of a billion factors in how you make decisions. Or, more accurately, how you don't make them. Whether it's a belief in fate, divine design, shitty genes, or existence in the matrix: the idea of simply lying down and refusing to try anything is only valid if you yourself have engineered this deterministic reality, with all its variables. Otherwise, it's absurd.

>shouldn't really impact your experience as a subject
Yet it does

How? If everything is predetermined, then it is predetermined regardless of your awareness. Conversely, whether you make decisions based on awareness or not is irrelevant, since those decisions are already predetermined by many other factors.

The essence will remain the same, only the perception will change slightly.

 No.308843

>>308840
you don't know what determinism is. pure intellect is the only thing naturally free from determinism, but human intellect is pathetic and besides isn't even the decision maker. everything outside intellect is unlikely to have enough randomness to be considered indeterministic. as such vast majority of your decisions are predictable and your live is overall predetermined by your genes and early childhood.

I don't really deny any of this. And genes do play a significant role, including in the development of temperament and reactions to traumatic social experiences, as in the OP. But how accurately can you predict something like this? Even if you're neurotic, you can certainly learn to cope with this. And you're unlikely to predict the success of the learning until you try.
Genetic testing can reveal a lot, but we still can't predict someone's fate 100%. Moreover, genes reveal more about predispositions.

 No.308846

Has anything really bad happened to any of you? Can you tell?
Because it happened to me. Probably the worst one possible.

 No.308847

You first.

i doubt it, but tell me

>we still can't predict someone's fate 100
you don't need 100%, 98% is enough. the other 2% account for some physics shenanigans that aren't predictable mathematically, such as a car starting to skid and hitting you to death (the good outcome).

i know its easier said than done, but moving to a different state and changing your phone number/deleting social media if you have it absolutely works

 No.309517

I was a local meme posted all over the internet in my country/town.

The jist of it was me walking into establishments asking for a job whilst my father was standing at the doorway watching me. He's frowning, arms crossed. Track pants low enough exposing his ass crack. He's the typical boomer who has no awareness around him. He'd wear mismatched socks, ass crack showing. Sometimes he wears mega short shorts which was popular in my country for men back in the day for some reason. The issue is when he sits down on a chair his cock and balls and exposed and dangling out. Photos have been posted online. People treated me like some freakshow because of it. Luckily 10+ years later it's mostly memory holed. But holy shit I was ready to kill myself over that. People would drive by our house at night and shout insults at us. Imagine being in bed at 2am trying to get comfy and you hear "SHOW US YOU CRACK AND BALLS".

Ropefuel.

Sorry to hear your dad is a tard, but maybe he's a cuck too

 No.309520

read about all the couped rulers and criminals who underwent extreme humiliation and how they or their families dealt with it

 No.309541

>>309519
he is a tard 100%, he would be a cuck too if my mom wasn't also a bedridden tard. Runs deep in the family, literally 20+ men are cucks. only one that isn't a cuck is a criminal but he pimped his own mother out to gangs, so maybe some variety of cuck? Idk either wayy fucking shit life huh?
