yeah, i live with my mom. she has a decent pension that she inherited from my dad (she didn't work a day in her life) and she's really bad with money. buys way too much stuff and she's also the kind of dumb-arrogant where she never listens to advice, so she accrued a bunch credit card debt and just keeps digging the hole deeper. of course, if i dare criticize her, she just tells me to get a job because she can't possibly make ends meet. i never ask for anything and i just eat whatever she gives me, i'm very frugal and like security, having savings on the side and also very conscientious when it comes to debt. i constantly have to remind her about dates when the loan and credit payments are due and when the checks are cashed so she enough money in the account. the worst is when she gets crazy project ideas like wanting to renovate part of the house and you can't dissuade her from it because she's stubborn as fuck. she buys stupid shit she sees online, falls for every marketing trick in the book, supplements, special walking shoes, those stupid chinese box fans where you put water in and it has a tiny fan, we have like 3 of those.

my dad was also retarded with money. we were good the first week after payday and then not have money for food at the end of the month. when i was working, i saved more than half my paycheck and had a bunch of savings when i had became a NEET but she blew threw that in a year and thank god for the pension otherwise we'd have no income. i can't work cuz i'm mentally ill and i can't go outside or talk to people.

I highly advise you to wage slave or find some way to make enough money to buy a car to live in, specifically an EV. Living in a car is infinitely preferable to living with bad parents. It's even better than living with non-abusive parents.

Why an EV? Because it can provide A/C and/or heat when needed, and can supply power for stuff you will need. I have a toaster oven and an induction burner that I do all my cooking on and also use to heat up water for my showers which runs off of an inverter that I mounted under my hood. Some EVs have features built into them to provide AC power, but generally they are the more expensive ones so I use an inverter hooked up to the 12v battery which gets charged by a DC to DC converter from the main battery and supplies a little over 1000w continuous without draining the 12v battery. I also have a supplementary LFP battery and a solar panel to run my heated blanket and laptop.

There are still free chargers around in many places which can make living in it really cheap. I sleep in a tent on public land 90% of the time rather than in my car, but every once and a while when it's hot enough to need A/C having the EV be able to run it overnight is a godsend.

My only problem at the moment is that I haven't figured out a good source of income while living in the car so I have to come home to live with my parents periodically to wage slave for a while and I hate every second of living here even though my parents aren't nearly as bad as yours.

I did the "van life" thing for a while in a class B RV that had a shower and stove and everything and living in an EV is vastly better for many reasons, chief among them maintenance and fueling costs. It's like having a generator that is silent. Big upgrade despite the smaller size.

You're right about EVs, they are extremely great in terms of value for money, and let me tell you what, it is literally my dream to buy a car, sadly I live in a country where ownership rate of cars is less than 9%, so you can probably guess what those cars are probably like.

I mean I will go as far as to say this, I want to see my father legitimately get hit by fucking lightning and thunder or slip from the edge of the cliff or something. That's how bad it has truly gotten tbh. It is a horrible thing to wish death upon someone but I truly do wish death upon him. He himself does nothing most of the day but keeps on living because my grandfather made a some money back in this day, and he keeps on living off of that, I truly wish that he dies so that I can have the money for myself. He is a massive faggot, he shouts, and berates me all the time to the point that I can literally feel terror in my nerves and a literal heavy feeling in my gut that persists for hours. yeah, but it's quite limited and i don't want to deal with all the bureaucracy and having to get an official psych diagnosis. i don't think mom would even let me do it because it would mean having to accept i'm a fucking invalid, she probably still believes i'm gonna grow out of this phase and become a normcuck and get married lol. i'm pretty much done tho, only thing that's keeping me going is some hobbies and the thought of ending it if it gets too much. i've completely given up on any kind of normalcy.

Having totalling retarded and out of touch boomer parents have destroyed any possibility of NEEThood I ever had. Technically I was NEET for nearly 6 months, but during that time I was applying for jobs and had a course lined up at the end of 6 months, so it doesn't count? Every single day my boomer dad would be saying worthless plattitudes. Telling me I'm clearly not asking for the manager and shaking their hands, says they can tell if I'm not going to be a good worker or not. He would stand by the doorway of stores just watching me interact with the manager/customer service people (blocking customers btw) and just scowl at me. Arms folded and grumbling to himself. We must have gone to over 500 locations locally and many places multiple times. He did eventually let up, he didn't want to admit how wrong he was about finding a job. This was all the way back in 2015.

Ironically I work way harder than he ever has now that I have a job. I've pulled 80 hours weeks, once did a 20 hour shift. I'd get home at 2am sometimes and he'd scream at me for being up so late. "I just got home from work dad, I finish at 2" he would grumble and reply that if I had a life I'd be asleep by now so I can wake up in time to go to the ice rink. We don't even fucking have one of those anymore. He also refuses to believe the hours I do, he thinks I'm out partying or something. He knows I do full time work atleast, but he's shown some skepticism as I can't afford a mortgage.. We live in one of the most expensive cities in the world (when accounting wages and stuff). He really is stuck in the 70s.

I hate how dumb my parents are with money. My dad is usually ok with the standard stuff, if anything he's great. His shortcoming is getting scammed. He will pay a 5k repair bill on a 2k car. He paid 15k for a fence to be put on our property and I did my own research into it, the fence should have been 1~3k including labour, and people were saying 3k is even quite out there.

Mother is just full blown retarded. She once paid 30 dollars for a supermarket made pizza that just had sauce and grated cheese on top. She also wants to rennovate the house, the house they plan to sell in 5 years and the value is ONLY based on the land. SHe wants to spend around 100k all for it to be torn down. We aren't rich either, we've come into lump sums quite often. Lottery winnings, Inheritence, redundency yet it's all been pissed away. Mother would also spend like 2k a week on clothing and end up giving a lot of it away or selling it for 5 dollars a piece. We should have had enough wealth to live comfortably like royalty

Most practical way would be to find a bunch of other neets and pool your bux to rent a house. With enough people the individual rent would be low. If you really live in some third world country there won't be as many regulations prohibiting stuff like this.

Why not just live on public land? If you have bux you can buy a car and solar panels and tents and stuff. I would need about 1k per month to sustain that lifestyle, but only because I spend $400 a month on weed. Most of the costs are start up costs.

It is not O.K. that I have to live here with him. He is not too gay or demanding but he is dumb and takes his sons wizardry never and his food is barebones and we both almost starve. Sometimes we steal beef t-flank steak but I am hungry a lot. Beer recently got phased out as a basic at 30 3/4years. I make him mad and ornery and he makes me sick and hungry. I recently took a motorcycle from him and he is gay about how it gets used lol. I am broke always him almost never.
