you know this couch that psychologists put in their office, sick people crave it. maybe the sicker a person is, the more that person craves the couch.

here is how you can see that play out in reality: there is a furniture store for big people in germany called XXXLutz. i went there. you know how much space they devote to couches? HUNDREDS OF COUCHES. it was an entire floor in a big 4-floor industrial-warehouse sized store near the autobahn and there are overweight people all around! they are sitting on them, slap them to test their thickness, sitting on them, making sure they are sturdy enough.
