I'm fucking baffled at how inconsiderate people are. I managed to not get Covid all this time despite riding public transport daily but now masks in trains aren't mandatory anymore so it's a matter of time now. I understand people wanting to return to normal but at least wear a fucking mask if you KNOW you're sick. But everyone is walking around unmasked and COUGHING. I feel like such an idiot thinking Covid will teach people awareness and consideration for viral transmission and make mask wear normalized. It's incomprehensible to me how people go to work knowing full well they are sick and going to infect others and no one goes "wtf go back home and rest".
And I just can't find a mask that fits me and actually creates an air tight seal. In 2020 I was scared shitless of covid so when the vaccines finally arrived I couldn't wait to get the shot. They started vaccinating people according to their age, eldery people (70+) went first, then 60 and under, then 50 and under and so on. When they finally were vaccinating my age group, one guy who was the son of one of my moms friend's got the shot, he went home with a terrible headache, then he was sweating cold, he spend a couple of days in bed and then he died in his sleep. That got me thinking and I started investigating about these vaccines. That's how I discovered the whole antivax rabbit hole and I decided not to take the shot. Then the restrictions got really bad to the point they didn't even let you buy a loaf of bread without the fucking vaxpass. I was walking near a vaccination center and I caved in and went to take the shot, but to my luck, when I got there they had just vaccinated the last poor idiot of the day and they told me to come back tomorrow.
