Let's fix that. I am currently watching part 4 and plan to watch part 5 afterwards and read the manga's. It is not as good as part 3 so far that I've watched but I've been told it gets better later on.
Dropped when the drawing turned incredibly gay >>33727 Yeah they spam every youtube comment section to death whose video has any slightest relevance to it with the same fucking jokes
davids production's adaptation past the 2nd part was disappointing, it looked so stale visually. Sometimes I feel like they should've adapted this series during the 80s/90s instead of the 2010s. The OVAs were handled by actually talanted people and the fights were even better than the source material. Not sure why the fans hated the 93 version beyond the fact the author disliked it. >>33728 jojo stopped being shonen with Jojolion. Please don't bring this kind of /a/ tier brainaids here
I am not into degenerate homosexuality such as this. I am not a little boy fucker nor do I aspire to be one.
I tried watching one episode of the first series and I knew just by their mannerisms, use of language and the flamboyant attire that this is a show for disgusting filthy child fucking queers.
Great yet another comment section ruined by jotards. What about this particular series that makes its fanbase such a hivemind? It's like succubus's who like going to the toilet together
>>33761 Not that guy, but posting from a phone is much faster, convenient, uses less electricity and allows you to continuously change your IP address and clear cookies with ease. Why would I need a big computer to do simple tasks such as imageboards?
>>33763 >posting from a phone is much faster, convenient, uses less electricity and allows you to continuously change your IP address and clear cookies with ease wtf am i reading
>>33764 Look at the pic's resolution you idiot, no phone's height is more than double its width. With the cropped out actual video combined, the height is more than triple the width
I just finished part 4. I didn't like it at all. Josuke was annoying as a character and it often made no sense how he, or actually anyone defeated any of the enemies. What made the previous parts interesting is gone completely from part 4 and is just replaced by what seems like experimental designs and scrapped ideas for Stands or powers. Sometimes when Josuke beat up people with Crazy Diamond it barely made a dent in them and other times a few punches was all it took to win. This theme of varying power levels occurs throughout the whole 39 episodes. The main villain here didn't have any impact on the story or character development - he could have been defeated at any point and it wouldn't matter. Right towards the end was possibly the worst writing I've ever seen. The 2nd bow was a huge asspull, Stands gaining new abilities and one person controlling more than one Stand was something that came out of nowhere. The last fight was awful because [spoiler]Kira just kept using the same move. What happened to Sheer Heart Attack? And seriously how could Rohan, Jotaro and Keichi not hear them fighting around a corner?
I'm watching part 5 now. I didn't think watching the 720p TV version would lower the quality so much, down from watching a 1080p Blu-Ray of pt4. I am liking this better off the bat - Giorgno seems like a mix of Jotaro's cool n quiet and Dio's savage. Also downloading a 1080p bd as I'm watching it because it does have some nice art.
>>33728 I don't care for either, but hating all shounen is utterly mindless and for /a/ dilettantes. I remember when Jojo would be lavished with praise and then the people with the same mindset shit talked it the moment it got popular. Like it was some esoteric knowledge and not already one of the most popular manga in its country's history.
>>33871 Its influence and popularity is everywhere, so much so that I don't even know where to begin with since I'm not that familiar with the series. I know for a fact that Street Fighter has Jojo influences, like Guile or Rose, and the Jojo fighting game Capcom made was apparently a bit of a passion project, I guess similar to how X-Men comics were popular around the office enough to make them want to contact Marvel and make official games for it. I'm reading Hellsing right now and even the author makes references to it right next Fist of the North Star and Fullmetal Alchemist jokes. The translator caught the Jojo one, but not the obvious Legend of Galactic Heroes one, but I guess Jojo already had precedent for being known in the US thanks to the fighting game, while LoGH was still being translated on obscure torrent sites. Anyways I don't most people, especially me but also pretentious imageboard posters, appreciate or comprehend how massive this series was and is, since most people were only exposed to it in the last decade.
>>33873 EoSD stage 5 and 6 is one big DIO reference. Sakuya can stop time, throws knives, and I believe parts of her design come from DIO. Then Remilia is an actual vampire who quotes DIOS "how many breads have you eaten" dialogue word for word.
>>33872 >I'm reading Hellsing right now and even the author makes references to it right next Fist of the North Star and Fullmetal Alchemist jokes. The translator caught the Jojo one, but not the obvious Legend of Galactic Heroes one, Can any of this be found in the tv or ova series?
>>33730 >Jojo is fun Hah that’s all you can come up with? Beside jojotards produce more worst shits than naturads eat shit kiddo your anime/manga sucks
Lmao butthurt I don’t know why wiz kids have shit taste on anime video games and movies gen z era wiz chan is pathetic inb4 butthurt reply cry more kid
Just finished part 5. I have to say I did not like it very much, same as part 4 I guess but a bit better. There's a lot of issues I have with it because it seems like Araki was trying to expand on the themes set forth in part 3 but manages to fall flat by undermining his own ideals possibly due to fan criticism. He brings out his favorite deus ex machinas everytime a conclusion has to be drawn, yet still tries to be consistent by sneaking in things from earlier parts. The first 20 episodes, as per usual are a red herring wild goose chase to uncover the antagonist while dropping false clues to confuse the veteran fans. These first 20 or so episodes made me hate JoJo in general because it seemed like Araki was again reusing old and recycled concepts for stands and enemies. All of the stands that the main crew fights against are overpowered besides one or two that get done away with easily. The main crew this time is a bunch of needlessly flamboyant Italians which is probably how a 10 year old views people from Italy after being there once. I never got used to how stupid they look because they are also recycled concepts. Narancia looks like the kid Rohan has the RPS contest with, Fugo is a Kakyion clone, Abbachio and Guido are a mix of the tower guy and alien, Buccellatti was basically Italian Avdol with a bob cut, stupid,1 and of course they all have situational stands that beat overpowered enemies over simple mistakes for the the half of the show. Every fight is won by Giorno healing them after they cut off their arm. Almost everyone ends up cutting off their own arm here to defeat the enemy. Fugo gets written out for no reason and never returns is something that pissed me off because it was like Araki planned to re-use him later on but just forgot. But he's not the only just written off for plot reasons.
Now the 2nd half after the reveal of King Crimson and eventually Diavolo was good for about 3 or 4 episodes. The villain actually didn't waste time and hide like previously and went after the main crew. Diavolo then is revealed to have two stands which ruined it as much as Gold Experience Requiem did. Part 5 was turning to shit fast because Araki started toying with the concept of invincible stands and had to appeal to part 3 fans and bring back fucking Polnareff, who randomly fought Diavolo and lost and found a meteorite arrow behind a drawer in an old house on the coast. At this point Araki has no idea how to end it so he must've been on some drugs because it started getting all spiritual and religious by the end with Charriot Requiem doing a soul and body switch since that was apparently the only way to get rid of Diavolo but nope turns out Giorno turned into a demigod that can undo time itself.
For a series that started as a de-constuction of shounen to end up falling back on the old sudden god-tier power up to end it was very disappointing. Araki then goes on to double down on his original concept and tells us it's(his stupid writing) all fate. What a hack.

Or the ads pull fact that both dio and jotaro could stop time? Or how kira just gets more powers?
Why do people think homo was ever some masterful piece of literature? It was always just a cheesy fun manga about fighting vampires, and then stands.
