How possible do you think it would be to assemble a group of wizards together to play an mmo or similar co-op type of game? I tried years ago and many years before than and I never managed to get more than 3 or 4 people to play at one time. Do you think this is an impossible goal? I sit at my pc basically all day long, I don’t see why there aren’t any other wizards in just the same situation who could have fun playing some casual game together. Of course the games would have to be playable without voice chat but there is plenty of those I think.
normans gave parties a bad rep me thinks, that or conflicting time zones. added someone here and perhaps I held them back and slowed the party down, these days gatekeeping=rejecting new players like it happens in left 4 dead, project reality, killing floor :/ coop became competitive.

This stuff always goes sideways for a ton of reasons. It's best to just stick with yourself. The only thing that tends to work are guilds, since if you're already playing the game then you can just see who is online and invite them.
there was a minecraft server for awhile. it was great since you could work together or go solo, depending on your style.

albion online, there are no region locked servers, you can help out each other without everyone being online, all you need to do is schedule dungeons whenever is convenient for a few people

I'll be on the fresh WoW classic servers, and I don't have anyone to play with, so you're welcome to join me. Right now I'm just playing Dwarf Fortress all day everyday.

I just picked up playing Infestation: New Z, thinkpad can't run higher quality survival games~ It's light enough to run ~20-27fps all low settings so its good enough for me.
I wouldn't mind playing with somebody, preferably a hiki/neet with NSA.
We'll just play when we feel like it, I only started yesterday but died because clans are a problem on the bigger servers.

I play on FFXI private server Eden does the classic ToAU era 75 cap been playing there for years now its a great server. You could run as a group of wizards in that mmo and its free since its a private server. just google edenxi

a couple wizards are currently playing Warmane Lordaeron which is a 1x exp WotLK private server, if anyone wants to join contact Mimmy or Wizfilth in-game, we are both NEET so it shouldn't be too hard to catch us online

Be careful with image board groups. They tend to be targets for stalking and bullying. And there are always homosexuals looking to groom lonely men and fuck with their heads. I've seen it happen regularly and you should be careful who you associate with.

Back in 2015 or maybe earlier, was wizard who played this little MMO called Tomenet. It's an ASCII game set in the LOTR universe with multiple classes and species to choose from. You can be a human, elf, goblin, dwarf, kobold, vampire, ent, etc. You can easily solo it, it's not very resource intensive, and there aren't many new people who come to play it. Also, those who do play it, never talk. I don't see much more than a few players on at a time during the week if I play it. There's also a party system, but I don't know much of it. You can also play it as a rouge-like if you really want. It's a pretty flexible game, I think.
Although I probably won't party with anyone. I will also pretend not to know this place otherwise. If anyone is interested though, the website is tomenet.eu. Seems like something more wizards would like. Definitely not filled with normal people.
