I developed social anxiety during high school for a bunch of reasons, suffered from it until my early 20s. I'm fine now (got other issues now) but never got into the whole socializing thing. I am 31 now and have been unemployed ever since dropping out of college. No opportunities to meet people. Don't care. The internet has been an excellent means of escapism.
