I like Japanese things, I like image-board concept, but when i go to other chans people are mad. I jut want to talk about hobbies music and things not hate/insult people. I'm not technically a wizard yet, but probably is my destiny, but I like this chan. what we can do for have more people just a bit, I'm starting too be bored of the same content.
I've used imageboards for around 20 years, and most chans are full of low functioning angry autists and failed normies (10 to 90% ratio).
Wizchan filters in a different way, in my experience here it's 90% highly functioning neurodivergents and 10% unhinged loonies.
A few small Japanese chan have 100% smart users due to tight moderation and social ridicule of loonies and crazies. But running every sentence through Google translate gets tiring.
>>222805 i still find people very angry here and prone to getting into heated fights for the slightest things, but it’s definitely still a lot better than nearly everywhere else simply from the fact that people don’t use insults based on social isolation and virginity regardless of context - that’s too exhausting for me, having your thoughts and ideas dismissed with a simply “talk to succubi”, “touch grass”, etc.
You can stay for as long as you're virgin, but I don't think it has intuitive appeal for you if you just want a chill atmosphere and don't identify strongly with virginity.
>>222808 >A few small Japanese chan have 100% smart users
Which boards are you talking about? 5ch has very shitty people who have nothing interesting to talk about. Back in 2020 the nanJ board was very active and they felt like weird mixture of /b/ and /r9k/ with main theme being baseball. I'm not fan of that place for being exactly like what OP described as "toxic".
Futaba has the best users among the place I know, it's like what you just described. The Touhou board is my favorite place in japanese internet. I love how hyper focused on Touhou and people vote deleting posts made by a person who clearly doesn't belong to that place without relying on moderator teams.
Yeah, image board culture has been abusing anonymity for years now. Things have gotten more toxic, inviting a negative feedback loop where people reply out of anger towards each other and escalate into huge blow outs.
>>222805 Yeah this chan is the most chill of all chans, hopefully it stays that way now that 4chan is gone and a lot of toxic retards are trying to settle in different chans.
Wizzies are quite the free spirits after all. Most male only spaces concerned with only particular topics, a rather frequent thing quite awhile back, were just like this, before flame and fire in the form of woe-to-men wrought hell on it for no reason other than that they wanted to, and in accord with their shit female nature. Wizchan's pretty great. No wonder the bots kept trying to pull it down, but I guess the 4shit fiesta fiasco has taken them away, of late.
>>222805 >but when i go to other chans people are mad
People who don't masturbate have anger stored in their balls, clearly you spill your seed to demons daily. You are weak, and will not make it on any chan. Go to hell.
>>222805 Then why are you into image boards and not reddits? You can get all of that in reddit without what makes chans, well chans the anonymity to tell how you really see it or exaggerate awhile to blow off some anger. Really if you dislike that so much you might be looking in the wrong subculture.
>>222805 I agree but I feel like this website has gotten more toxic since 4chan shut down, everytime I check now theres ppl fighting or being mad at eachother. I hope 4chan comes back soon so they can go there again & leave us in peace
>>223478 it definitely has, i'm noticing the same posters that were shitting up 4chan and several other chans. Its really the same small handful of faggots doing all the shitty toxic posting, their behaviour is so predictable i know what they are going to post before they do it. I think i'm just going to permanently abandon chans because this shit gives you brain rot.
>>223389 >>223374 >>223371 Baseball's entire design is esoteric. The field's parameters, the shapes of home plate, bases, and the pitcher's mound, plus the roles on the team are based largely in sacred geometry.
Sounds like you're going to like kissu.moe. You can get banned for being rude there and they are quite fast for an altchan. Just be aware that it's full of gay people and closet trannies.
>>223494 every chan being a shithole infected by the same assholes makes me so sad. Chans are a really beautiful concept but their biggest strength is also their weakness. Letting anyone post is just easily abused by the internet equivalent of nwords.
>>223510 >Just be aware that it's full of gay people and closet trannies. I'll take gay people and trannies over insufferable culture war fags like you anytime.
>>223525 Gay people and trannies are culture war fags dumbass. They're the exact same people that you're complaining about right now just in a different team.
>>222805 I think if you're coming to imageboards and not expecting a certain amount of toxicity you're kind of barking of the wrong proverbial tree. Mind you I'm more partial to /b/ than other boards, but I think wanting imageboards to be a hugbox is extremely gay. Toxicity and trolling are not only fun, but serve an important role online as a sort of internet eugenics. Of course there's a difference between expecting an entire website to be filled with /b/tardation versus having a good website in different respects for its intended purposes >>223372 >Yeah, image board culture has been abusing anonymity for years now Internet hall monitor faggot
The difference is that most imageboards are now filled with severely mentally ill zoomers and early millennials, as well as low functioning autists who are easily manipulated by every single conspiracy theory video on YouTube.
It's getting increasingly rare to find level-headed regular discussion online. The amount of deranged, arrogant low IQ masses who are also usually under the influence of drugs while posting has infiltrated most imageboards as well.
>>225956 On 4chan you could clearly see the slow degeneration into most users becoming weird aggressive meth-head junkies with shoe size intelligence around 2010-2012, shortly after the economic dip.
Strangely enough, before that you were able to have multi-day real discussions even on /b/.
Then as we get closer to 2020, the userbase is so wacked out of their minds on drugs and all kinds of delusions all that remains is shitposting, false info and very poorly executed trolls.
Not to mention balding pasty white geeks from lower middle class families trying to talk like ghetto rappers.
>>225956 >mentally ill zoomers and early millennials, as well as low functioning autists who are easily manipulated by every single conspiracy theory video on YouTube. Made me lolz, based and redpilled
>>225958 I was at my neighbors house doing spots back in 2016, and this methhead in his late 30s was high and -still- going on about le anonymoose /b/ raids and hacking. He wouldn't shut up and it was honestly fucking pathetic and annoying. Another meth head I worked with who got off drugs said he was just posting the kekistan meme war shit on /pol/ the entire time he was tweaking.
That's a good portion of 4chan, there's a surprising amount of drug junkies on there.
>>222823 Definitely not Futaba. Outside of a few /b/-adjacent boards, nearly every hobbyist board is flooded with the Japanese equivalent of soyjacks/andysixx (usually shoops of some pasty nerd who used the site and pissed a group of spammers off) and the mods do absolutely nothing to clean it up.
>>222808 I am failed normie. I watch Instagram reels all day in which normies act like high skoolers to get likes. I wish I could make normie content like that.
You know, IMO, there is something beautiful in early LLMs (they're trying to be nice, but that's it) and there was something beautiful in the early Internet in its "and that's it"-ness too.
