I have a horrible mother who criticises me just as much when I do something good as when I do something wrong. I remember having a lot of traumatic experiences with her, and even today she’s still the same. For example, I started being more hygienic and washing my hands before eating, and she started using that habit as a weapon against me. She also criticises me for not going out with my ‘friends’, but when I do leave the house, she keeps insulting me Any advice on how to get free from her? makes me unhappy
I can relate, I have a crazy BPD mother. Does yours has BPD or you suspect it? Basically, the best thing you can do is doing gray rocking: just ignoring her and giving her simple, bland answers and never engaging communication. NEVER show how much you seethe. Just complete 100% ignore. If it doesn't work, I don't know. My mom used to beat the ever living shit out of me until I turned eleven and gave her a mean upeprcut in reutrn. Now, I don't recommend hitting your mother, but giving her a taste of her own medicine WHILE gray rocking outusde of those instances, might be helpful.
>>306726 >Does yours has BPD or you suspect it? I’ve never suspected she has anything like a psychological disorder, but I do suspect she has childhood trauma linked to bullying, as she was bullied when she was little. I’ll describe her personality a bit: she’ll always judge you if you wear creased clothes; no matter what you do, she always judges you – she judges how you eat, she judges your hobbies, she judges your appearance, and basically, she once told me she shouldn’t have had me. She said that to me when I was 10, and it’s really affected me. When we eat with her, she’s always judging how we hold our forks. The worst thing is that my brother tells me I should put up with it and take more crap because “she’s my mum”. My brother is very submissive in that regard. My dad is nicer; he’s an honest man. He lets me get on with my hobbies and doesn’t judge me, although he does judge me if I do something that’s genuinely wrong. I’ll take your advice, anon. I remember giving a teacher who was always insulting me the silent treatment, and it worked.
Some parents just want to torment their children. I've read a lot of stories like this and this is sad that this is seemingly common. I've broken off all contact with my parents.
>>306738 >She simply doesn't like you. Move out. I can’t move out on my own just yet, but I can go and live with my dad because my parents are divorced. I love my dad very much; he’s a good person and helps me with my problems. My mum is always criticising him for not having a steady job, but he’s an honest worker.

Normies, especially succubi just love to complain. I bet your mother has nothing of substance going on in her life either, if she was happy and had hobbies she wouldn't be so up your ass. nagging and bitching is a popular female hobby
>>306726 >she started using that habit as a weapon against me How? Does she just come up next to you and say something like "haha anon, washing your hands? only fags do that!"? >Any advice on how to get free from her? Has your mother always been like this, op? Do you think talking with her could work?
