I'm Kode. I don't really post much here, but I figured I'd share something I've been working on.
This is my first real attempt at making an operating system called
NEKO KERNEL. And yeah… I mean *attempt*. It's still early, things break, and half the time I fix one bug just to discover three more.
There's a video here of it actually booting and running. Surprisingly, it works more often than it doesn't, so I'll take that as a win.
It's
32-bit, which probably raises more questions than answers, but I wanted to start with something I could actually understand before making my life even harder.
Right now there's not a lot to do. It's mostly just me figuring things out, writing code, breaking everything, rewriting it, and repeating the process until something finally works.
I'm putting together a website soon so anyone who's interested can download it, test it, and tell me exactly what I managed to break.
