how should i avoid normalfags in japan. I don't want to talk to them. I know that Japan attracts a lot of normalfags but I don't want to interact with them: they will ruin my trip. do you have any idea what to do?

 No.41308

>>41306
yeah I know japanese are also normalfags. You're right I guess. but what I wanted to tell is that I don't want to be around too much foreigners. I don't want them to ruin the travel. but yeah traveling is for normalfags

 No.41309

>>41308
Will have to just cope.
There's no reason to travel as a non-normalfag when you can look at shit online.

 No.41310

>>41308
japanese are consumerist servile normalfags with one of the worst work cultures. they literally work themselves to DEATH and bow down to their bosses and then get drunk and buy anime figurines and repeat. Their system is so awful it's the first country to have a hikkikomori phenomenon where traumatized males are scared to go out in such a competitive and soulless study and work environment so they withdraw and renounce to it and never leave their homes. Fuck Japan.

 No.41314

Don't go. You will just end up disappointed. You will see different sights and eat different food but it won't be worth the thousands of dollars you spend.

>consumerist servile normalfags with one of the worst work cultures. they literally work themselves to DEATH and bow down to their bosses and then get drunk and buy anime figurines and repeat
That's a Tokyo stereotype. Using the jokes and tropes you've read about some one subculture in the most densely packed city on earth is no valid tool to gauge the nature of the entire race. Like a European who plays GTAV once and thinks all of America is Californiggers

 No.41324

>>41321
>hikkikomori is not real is just a tokyo stereotype
Japan is hell for wizards.
> Like a European who plays GTAV once and thinks all of America is Californiggers
Rockstars parodies and mocks USA's culture and is actually pretty accurate nowadays to the point you don't know if there is a "parody"

 No.41325

>Japan is hell for wizards.

People here have described having to check the mailbox at the end of the driveway as "hell for wizards" so statement doesn't old much weight,

why?

traveling to japan is one of my goals in life. and the day I'll get there I don't want to face other foreigners MOstly. but since I don't like people in general. I don't think I'll meet people, most of the case would be buying and doing otaku stuffs

 No.41370

>>41369
I've been to japan like a good wiz who liked anime and japanese culture way before it was popular, I was disillusioned with the people there, they are strict normalfags who are more like ants than humans, doesn't help that they look like insects, and the otaku there are the most pathetic, perverted, disgusting, robotic people i've watched in my life, almost the same reaction I had when I saw poor people when travelling to the south living in trailer parks, stereotypically ugly and in many other negative characteristics.

Seeing those people being excited and crazy about the anime I liked made me want to detach myself from it and leave so as to separate myself from them and not be confused with anyone there. I felt second hand embarrassment.

Then again, I dislike people and Im asocial so traveling and seeing other cultures was never my thing maybe you will like it.

wiz i can relate so much it's unreal

 No.41376

damn it sucks…what did you do in japan? what year was it? what did you visit? what did you buy?

 No.41377

>>41370
if all it took for you to drop a hobby is noticing that someone you dislike is showing an interest in it then your motives for liking it were dishonest and pathetically vain in the first place
but your entire post is probably a lie, if you're racist and think of japanese people as insects, and think of otaku culture as perverted, then why were you in Japan anyways? you come across as a false-flagging /pol/tard

 No.41378

I've wanted to travel to Japan for years and i have the money to do it but i honestly worry that this might be the case>>41314. Really doubt it's worth it.

Man, that was the most unwiz thing I've read in a while, even though I partially agree with some of your points. Japan, or at least the cities I went to, were perfect for wizards.

All I know is I went in late, late summer and it was still hot as fuck.

do you have more? can you tell us what you'done in japan, how long did you stayed there? what things you liked and didn't like?do you know some japanese? did you behave good? have you sern some normalfag tourists behaving bad?

 No.42683

>>42682
>did you behave good?
Not him but what kind of question is that to ask a wizard? Are younger anons that disconnected from old imageboard, nay, geek culture that they think an actual wizard would go around Japan acting like a retarded normalfag on a drinking holiday?

When I went everything seemingly opened late and closed early, I don't know how normalfags would cope unless they went to shady places or just bought booze from a 7-11.

 No.42684

>>42683
I mean, did you behave good compared to normalfags? but you answered this
>would go around Japan acting like a retarded normalfag on a drinking holiday?
yeah you're right, I should trust more wizards being wise

Learn to spell. Mostly sight-seeing, I went too late to do the old school nerd things, should have went 15 years ago. But it was still enjoyable.

>did you behave good?

How dare you..

I never do what the image I posted does. I just wnat answers to my questions please

 No.42703

I was there 16 years ago or so. Something that I really like was when it was dark, it was very silent and little to no people despite Tokyo being a big city (excluding the hotspots). Most public areas overall was very quite and respectful. It also felt 100% safe. At least that is how I remember it, not sure how it is today. It was just before everyone had a smartphone.

>not sure how it is today
It's still the same going by your description. Someone described Japan as "the future of the past frozen in time". If it weren't for the dogshit iphones that virtually 100% of them use, it's like "2008 in 1989". But yeah, when night falls the streets seem to be virtually empty.

>>42704
Geek culture was still mostly safe until the end of the 00s and the start of the 10s.
