kingdom is cringy in some parts like shin being a diehard moralfag that hates rape and killing enemy citizen or how so many succubi are in commander positions so the author is basically one of "those", the kind that has children and has to express his modern moral compass in all his works. But its still enjoyable to read if I skip over the cringy stuff the battles are definetily the best currently at chapter 600 of 800 and I still like it.

I remember impatiently waiting for chaps of Usogui to get translated, definitely one of my favorites as well.
My current favorite ongoing manga is Yajin Tensei.

What's some essentials /wiz/ mangas to read? Mangas about hikkis, NEETs, older virgins, odd balls and what not.

>>43402Even the last manga posted about in this thread is about an autistic virgin that doesn't know what a vagina is and lives alone in a shed. Hell, I think the mc in Hajime no Ippo is like 30 years old and still a virgin. It's just really not that special in Japan where people have to make it their core identity. If you're asking for crab manga where the main character just sits in his room and is sad, well I don't know, wouldn't read such an unwizardly manga. Unless you go out of your way to exclusively read nothing but isekai and harem shit, it's mostly eccentric dudes who don't have sex.

No.43407
>>43406It's just strange. Being a hiki doesn't necessarily align with being a wizard. The tale of a character shutting themselves off from society then slowly rebinding the knots tying themselves to it is pretty common and cliche at this point, even Rozen Maiden followed this narrative. If we're talking about anything of recent, well, its Onimai, soon to approach its 100th chapter. Nekotofu is a knower as a college drop out otaku obsessed with doujin culture and a seemingly 12 year long gap in his employment, even if he is clearly really damn gay and has a pee fetish. However, I've yet to encounter anything that really illustrates the awfulness of having to deal with your parents in that situation, I guess that really is too painful of a narrative, and the catalyst for me going off to live alone and conquer my various fears, personally. They say a tomato grows sweeter if unwatered, so too in dealing with life's hardships I guess. But like I said, plenty of interesting takes on being a loner or having strange and isolating interests over the years. Not an uncommon thing in Japan at all, plenty of manga about loneliness and depression. In Kokou no Hito the MC literally envisions females as predatory insects and demons. (although he ultimately takes a wife in the end, but promptly abandons her lol)

I finished Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, very beautiful, light of the dialogue, serene, and towards the end become melancholic, very good, made me tear up by the last chapter, genuinely think that one of those manga that you have to read once your life.
