How do you guys feel about kaijus movies? They're probably my favorite thing to come from Japan. What's your favorite kaiju/kaiju movie? I'm really basic and love Godzilla.

I'm a sucker for the rule of cool so my favorites are Final Wars and those with Mechagodzilla, especially the original one from 1974. On the same note, and despite not being strictly /jp/, I also like Pacific Rim a lot.

vs Mechagodzilla was insane since it was the first Godzilla movie to have blood in it. Also in the sequel it introduced one of the coolest kaiju, who sadly never reappeared in anything ever again. Well, movie wise.

Final Wars was great cause it at least gave a very small cameo to my favorite enemy kaiju, Hedorah.
