I've always felt like there is a specific subgroup of people that were born to be successful, and the rest are those who gaslight themselves into thinking that their lives are “decent” or those who simply lost hope. No specific talents or aspirations, no deep connections with others.
There are even specific voices that people find pleasant to listen to, while others have to find ways to make themselves heard. At some point I wanted to be heard too. I had Ideas, I had Opinions or Wants.
I live invisibly, cutting off all of my “relationships” before they even start, because I understand that my mental state is a barrier from anything healthy. IF people like me disappear, it wouldn’t change much: it is not a corny feeling, it is an actual fact.
I am now physically sick whenever I am at my workplace, so I quit a week ago. Antisocial and anxious thoughts got the best of me, I guess.
I have a plan and conditions ready to end my life, and I am not bitter about it anymore. Just was curious to maybe hear from other deeply alienated people like myself.

>I have a plan and conditions ready to end my life
What's your plan?
>Just was curious to maybe hear from other deeply alienated people like myself.
I'm deeply alienated and I simply never wondered if I was successful I barely survive as a NEET

You have a low opinion of yourself, but why? Waiting on others to tell you that you are something is a needless mistake. You have to be able to respect yourself and assign value to yourself without searching for the approval of others. What other people may *seem* to you as, in no way equals the reality of what their lives may be. In having been around "successful" people when I was younger, I can tell you that often they are deeply sad behind their social masks. I don't know what you think you are missing that these people possess – whether recognition by others, common reputation that they are amazing, money/cars, etc…but internally there remains no way of judging how they actually feel. You are somewhat naive to suppose that because an appearance suggests success that they are also content psychologically.

I also want to ask: Are you physically healthy? In that you can walk around without feeling pain in your body? You can lie in bed without any pain? If so, you really have no reason to end it all. When we're suicidal so much can seem to crowd our minds so fast that we lose the rationality we would otherwise have. Give yourself a few days and consciously choose to abandon all the negative thoughts you have had and just live those days as an end in themselves. Allow your mind to decompress and don't blame yourself for how others react to you. You can choose to take the pressure of your brain.

If people like you disappeared, though I will never meet you, I would still feel very bad, as you are a fellow wizard who is suffering through no fault of his own. Also, you are being heard now and I read through everything you wrote. If you write more, I will continue to listen to you. You don't have to feel completely alienated as this is at least a place you can freely talk.

>What’s your plan?
i’ll probably spend my cash before The Day and jump from height, seems the most reliable option out of all. how are your days as a NEET going?

>and the rest are those who gaslight themselves into thinking that their lives are “decent”
Don't butcher the English language with the misuse of its words which you've learned from ironic memes. This whole thread is without footing when you learn that it is impossible to "gaslight" oneself. Furthermore, someone appreciating what they have in spite of not having nearly as much as much as some other people is never a "gaslight", or a "cope", or whatever you want to call it to insinuate that their feelings are fake.

Stop feeling bad for yourself because you weren't born in to money or gifted with a beneficial brain defect.

to be honest, i’ve never expected to receive such a response here.
i understood your position on “successful,” and while your experience with those people is valid, i also find a different side to the problem. i studied in a private school for rich kids (though i wasn’t one), and those people have never known the horrors of scarcity and poverty. i’m happy for them, nevertheless. their lives went great, but those like me didn’t reach much at all.
i guess the issue is that i’m still hoping for something, as my planned date isn’t that close, i still have a few months. i’ll sort out my thoughts like you’ve said, thank you a lot.

there are people that don’t want to change despite knowing they can. that “butchered english” comes from my life experience i’ve seen directly, dummy

Then use a word besides the currently popular "gaslight" instead of applying it incorrectly to your particular feelings.

Stop gaslighting people

I agree with your opening statement. Ive worked different Jobs and seen my share of fat, below average Looking tradecucks that trade their bodies and 9 hours of every day for some meager money and thinking theyve had it made. Every single day installing Piping on the ceiling. Dont get me wrong, they had it better than some people but they werent true winners.

It's work that someone has to do. It accomplishes important functions. It gives them an income high enough to afford a middle class life. I don't see anything all that bad about that.

That might have been the word OP was looking for yet that doesn't change the essence of what he was trying to say.
