make sure to include a detailed description about the character's strong identification with ego.
maybe the character was told to his face a lot of things as a kid, and made to feel excluded.
maybe then the character developed a feeling of being someone, of having to be something different. in his attempt to develop his "someone", he attaches himself to outcomes, deeply concerned to what will happen to him, and to how he is treated.
the character has never been told that this is not how other people experience life, that other people just see themselves as part of the world, with no special care for their body as opposed to someone elses body, simply living in the moment.
the character projects his own identification with ego onto everyone else. when looking at someone else, he either sees a smugness in them of what they achieved, or deep misery in them because of who they are.
even the sight of a bird causes the character anxiety and pain, because it invokes more concern about his life and what will be, and what has been.
the character ultimately fails to kill himself, because in the last moments, his ego will instead want to fap or to watch his favorite youtuber.

>>301016here i'm saying that your inner eye is too zoomed in on specific aspects of your life, worried about them.
unfortunately, you cannot rationalize your eye to stop doing that.
you have to look inwards.
rule 3 is an investigation to find out some things about your thoughts. if i just told you what the things are, you would just try to skip the TRUE INSIGHT into the truth.

religions are great at helping you overcome self concern.
they can help you blow your head wide open.
you need your head blown wide open.
afterwards, you can do what you want.
you will be able to tell when your head has been blown open, because afterward, you don't 'suffer' anymore. you'll have painful experiences still, but you wont cling to stuff.
after that, life is your canvas.
