Silicone ear plugs are more comfortable than foam. However if you're like me, anything on or in your ears makes them chafe and burn up.

I genuinely can't stand being around normalfags anymore, they always try to impose their shitty views on me for a "better life". What are wizchan's officially approved headphones? Particularly something that can be worn for long spans of time either sitting or laying down without discomfort. Bonus if it either drowns out the world or keeps your parents from overhearing the media you are watching.

I once tried aviator headphones like these but they were too tight. It's hard finding a set of headphones that just rest on your head rather than pinches it.

I've spent half my career as an office drone wearing the same pair of Bose QuietComfort 25 (wired) - had to replace the ear pads after being rained on for 5 years but that wasn't a hardship.

Has active noise cancelling (tested on an airplane), and a pleasant mellow sound, but won't blow your mind wrt sound quality. If you're after long term engagement as the top priority I recommend them.

I've worn Apple Airpods Pro 2 almost day in, day out only taking them off for a charge, and 3 years later they still hold about 7 hours of battery and the active noise cancellation works perfect.

Best money I ever spent on a piece of technology. Perfect quiet all the time. Not even shitty birds chirping loud at 3am can wake me up anymore.

They charge to full in 20 mins and the case itself holds enough secondary battery for 4 or 5 full charges before
needing to be plugged in.
