Was reading "Look Me in The Eye" and was inspired by the phrase, "He'll remember this when he's 40." What are those things that people said to you that you never forgot? Can be positive or negative, recent or distant past.

In 9th or 10th grade, a random succubus who wasn't even in my class said, "There's something wrong your shirt. Everytime I see you there's something wrong with you." I don't know why she was in my classroom, and I never saw her again afterwards. Of course I said nothing like a pathetic slave. They echo in my mind almost 10 years after.

Mostly from my mother.

"I don't want to eat that mess you made, I don't like eating these things." after I cooked something with difficulty.

"I don't like it."
"You look stupid."
"Whatever you're gonna do, you're gonna fuck it up."

while laughing and pretending to be 'lighthearted' as she berates my hardwork or ideas.

Then my father, laughing at me and mocking me, berating me, just being sarcastic and belittling me whenever I do anything.

Yep, the worst part is that they're usually right. I had a kid say I'll be a rapist one day in middle school. I also said nothing

>Yep, the worst part is that they're usually right.
>I had a kid say I'll be a rapist one day in middle school.

So you're blatantly admitting to being a non-virgin sexhaver. "They are right. I am a rapist." is what you just said, summarized.

No no, but I've thought of it. I'm not thinking before typing. Am are a serious pervert. I won't do it ofc, but I'm sure all of our minds went there once or twice.

Who is 'our'? Why do people like you always project your perversions onto other people to make it look universal? Its only YOU whose mind has crossed into that territory, choosing to assume everyone else does the same to give yourself some type of validation or legitimacy. Was it really rape though? Maybe that goat wanted it…

Actually, I rarely remember my past. It feels like my brain is forced to forget it, but some phrases still stay with me.

When I was in 5th grade, a succubus told me I looked like a nerd and that I would end up alone because of it. I don’t understand why people think intelligence is something negative. People will hate you or love you for the same reason. I’m quiet and calm for about 80% of my day; the other 20% is filled with depression and despair.

About four years ago, my sister and I had a serious argument about my inconsistency with responsibilities, and she called me a liar. The next day, on our way to school, we took a picture in a photo booth. Her eyes were full of hate. I hate that picture as much as I hate myself.

Once, while playing League of Legends with random people on a call, someone called me a “goofballssion.” It sounded funny at the time, but now it makes me reflect on my personality and on what friendship really means.

Twas a combo of "You have crazy eyes, like a maniac" + "Who knows what kind of shit you are thinking". Both were said by my female classmates.

A lot of generic insults based on my weirdness and shyness come to mind. However one phrase I can remember so clearly was on my 25th birthday a coworker said "congrats on the quarter century". I'm 29 in a month. Also was reminded that the average death age is like 75 for men in my country. lots of us are going to croak around 50~60. I'm essentially already middle aged.

>insults

De jure, its not an insult, since 25 years = ¼ century

Please try adding context.

Some schoolie said "you're trying to look better than you are" out of blue

The details are hazy, though.

MAYBE she meant it for someone else she had a conversation with moments prior…

It's wild to read on the past and seeing that people just died all the time after 40. Like, even old kings had a modal age of death of like 49, and this was the ones that survived the 50% infant mortality.

It is factual, doesn't mean it didn't sting a little to hear it put in such a manner. This is separated from insults.

Also think of the painful conditions that had essentially no treatment. When I am in serious pain due to whatever cause, I can usually get the right medicine for it within 24 hours. Can't imagine having to live the rest of your life just carrying the burden, which I'm sure everyone did back then. There hasn't been a good time to be alive on this planet ever, just slightly less shitty periods depending on various factors, luck especially

>words that left an impression
A succubi from my university group told me one day
>“I think you have limiting beliefs.”
I didn't talk to her to much, very smalltalks but in the end I agreed with her.
I think she changed my mindset and perception of life and things in a healthy way.
cool succubi, Perhaps the only one I've known so far.
>Also
I don't deny that I liked her in the long term, but the truth is that I know I'm not her ideal type. She wasn't your typical succubi with normie ideas, she also had her problems (traumas around a young relationship and other fucked up things)
She was a bit childish and mischievous at times, but sweet and kind, quite magnetic for how shy and quiet she was.
I grew a little fond of her even though she was a somewhat Christian New Ager with some woo-woo beliefs and traumas.
>so
I hope she's well and I wish to her all the best things with all the friendship she gave me.

Your story reminded me of one of mine.

I met a succubus about a year ago at a pop culture event in my city. She had that mix of tomboy and “weird cult succubus who loves philosophy and history.” Flat chest, medium-length dark brown hair, glasses. She didn’t wear makeup at all. That day, she was wearing a suit and selling manga.

And me — someone who has been obsessively reading manga my entire life — I thought, “Obviously she doesn’t know anything about this stuff, lol.”

At that exact moment, she looked at me and said:
“Hey, man, you look really sad and kind of abandoned. I think you’ll like this manga.”

Then she showed me Genshiken.

I was completely confused. Completely shocked.

By the way… that manga is really good. I loved it, lol.

The book
>The Little Prince
Is a book of full powerful words that left an impression, i read it every year and i found new things every read. The first time i dont get it but now is like a magical book to me.
the book is esoteric, hermetic and in a way feel like a full magic grimoire of hidden emotions with the aesthetics of a child book.
The story of the little prince and the fox is one of the most that give powerful impressions but every story is impresive in the territory of the mind.
>Also
I reccomend reading it two times or more, you not gonna get it the first time maybe.
Very philosophical to me like a religious way.

I feel like there's more suffering now because we prolong it for longer. I obsessively read up on the past and it seems like people's bodies started fucking out right around the time they were set to die.

Even Tuberculosis (the one disease that does cause long term suffering) is more of an early modern period disease, and didn't really hit hard before cities became so overcrowded.

Yeah, and she gave me a discount. But I didn’t buy that manga — I bought Bleach instead. Obviously, when I got home and thought about what she had said to me, I searched for Genshiken, read it, and watched the anime.

I found her again when I was going to play Yu-Gi-Oh! too. She plays the game very well — she is top 1 in our city. She also plays the Pokémon TCG.
I later found out, through people from the TCG scene, that she has severe depression. She also practices self-harm, but my first impression of her was true: she is completely obsessed with philosophy and history. It was frightening when a colleague asked her how she sees her own life and she gave an extremely nihilistic answer.

I think she is a good person, although very self-destructive.

I really like reading a lot, and used to read before I became this empty shell who only thinks about suicide everyday. Books who really left their impression on me:
The New Testament
The City of God against the Pagans by St Augustine
Various dialogues by Plato
Various stuff from Seneca
The Art of War by Sun Tzu
Euclids elements
As you can see I mostly like to read Ancient stuff. What I get most from it, is that there is this brutal aspect about being alive, only few things are real, like God, Death, good vs evil, and this eternal struggle for the basics of life. Anyway this is heavy but it can be very fun to read about all this stuff from the safety of your room, you also get to see a glimpse how ancient people thought and lived and how their wisdom still holds up today
