I don't understand how this game got so many accolades. As a 30 year old boomer who's played tons of RPGs western and eastern there isn't anything that unique about expedition 33 that makes it a substantially better game then everything else that came out.

People saying we haven't had a good jrpg in decades haven't heard of the trials of cold steel series. I'm convinced everyone that likes this game is a zoomer who only played pokemon as their only RPG.
