when i passed this, i thought it was just regular 24hr food vending machines and so i went inside, but man was i wrong. i had never heard of such a thing before, i thought it was cool. i think about it sometimes. it probably has some japanese sign clearly indicating what is inside, but if you can't read it, you wouldn't know any better

The top of the sign is too blurry to make out so maybe that says 成年 or something, looks like three characters though.

Wish the government would bam all car colors except white, ban bumper stickers, ban graphic t shirts and ban nike shoes
That would enrage the breedgroids
No.21546
>>21535I don't agree with that. Individualism, period, can be a good thing. Though with what you said, you may just be put off by "slacktivism" and the like. As much as the Law of Jante is popular on Wizchan, I still believe in individualism and hold collectivism would be disconcerting to Westerners. The Nordic and East Asian seem strangely "autistic" or maybe evolved compared to the rest of the world. What I'd rather see the government do would be to ban things like you said but also sponsor local workshops or makerspaces where the community gets together to mod the generic products to their desires.

>>21535Signalling your individualism through material objects is just dumb sorry. Because you aren't even doing that, just falling for the consumerism meme. Frankly I agree with the other poster but would go even further. Make school uniforms mandatory for every school, make the production, sale, import or wearing of any clothing with logos a capital offense, Ban hairdye, ban piercings, ban tattoos, along with banning all vehicle colors except white, bumper stickers and so on. Also ban lawn ornaments too and only allow the most utilitarian frame and shape of eyeglasses to be sold.
After you get rid of this sort of superfluous 'individualism', then we'll see if breeders start to differentiate themselves by their actions and beliefs instead and if actual individualism is indeed good or not.
>>21546Japanese and nordics are still way too individualistic
to be ideal unfortunately.
No.21748
>>21535This is off topic but I have to get this out:
Most people have a bad taste. Now thanks to cheap production and consumerism people get to live out their bad taste. Just look around and see what kind of stuff people are wearing. Neon colored t-shirts with cringeworthy misused memes on them. There is just so much shit out there that tries to entice the average consumer by being flashy.
I think that unless you have good taste / you are an enthusiast you should just get whatever looks the most inoffensive and is the most practical.
It looks like back then bad taste was being kept to a minimum.

>I think that unless you have good taste / you are an enthusiast you should just get whatever looks the most inoffensive and is the most practical. This is how I've always operated, more or less.
My disgusting sister, the normans I've been forced into contact with through necessity and the internet have all referred to different aspects of my general ensemble (if one can call it that) as "Autism X."
That's the worst that they can generally do to you for being practical, economically and comfy, basically nothing, it's not bad.
No.21751
>>21750Fashion is a terrible meme because it just fools insecure normans with boring 'personalities' to buy cartloads of sweatshop rags marked up at 1000% with some cologne sprayed on them and a model paid to wear them. Not only that, they created a sick henpecking system that shames those who dont subscribe to the meme, though that's the case with most norman spooks anyways. If you've ever watched people obsessed with fashion, you'll see they are in some sick delusion where they think they are somehow 'obtaining' the attractiveness of the model. It only works when the victim lacks self awareness and has fallen for the meme.
Better turn this into a 'pictures of Japanese fashion' thread before we derail it.
No.21852
>>21751You have no idea what you are talking about. People truly obsessed with fashion are nerds who dont give a shit about how models look in the clothes. A model is literally a walking manniquin. Just an aesthetic piece but the clothes are the real art. There are some pieces i would like to own that i might only wear once or twice like archival pieces but the history and the craftmanship behind them would be enough just to take them out and look and feel them once in a while

Although some Japanese youtubers (like Nobita) claim it possible for gaijin to move to 田舎(countryside) and get integrated into communities, it's pretty hard to do and one has to be an outgoing normalfag for that.
