wizards! I found something! translate this website:
http://ruijianime.com/comic/ruiji/ruiji.php?title=NHK%E3%81%AB%E3%82%88%E3%81%86%E3%81%93%E3%81%9D%21then, you look at the blue bar that has 'hikikomori' written and look if it has a big bar for hiki or not, and it means it's a manga about hikikomori.
there's alos this anime or manga idk called 'Onii-chan wa Owari'
that's all I found for now, enjoy
No.42413
otherwise, just write ' manga/anime hikikomori in japanese on google and you'll find things related to hiki
No.42414
>>42412>>42413This method seems good for finding untranslated manga, but unfortunately it can be hard to find some raw manga for free on the internet unless you actually buy the digital versions on the official websites, or import physical manga from Japan.
You can try your luck with Nyaa or DLRaw (there's like a gorillion different domains/clone websites). DLRaw generally should have more stuff, but it has the problem of using extremely shitty file hosts with joke-tier bandwidth and draconian limits (unless you pay them shekels, of course), so it's a good idea to first check Nyaa.

I visited my local manga store's website (god forbid I go there in person for once) and they had a manga called "My Roommate is a cat". I don't know how good it is, I haven't read it yet, but it seems to be about about a loner, who gets himself a cat and lives with it. It is implied that he is a Hikki, but never actually mentioned. They just say that the MC is "awkwardly shy" or "very introverted" and "rarely leaves his home". I'm not expecting much, when reading this, but I haven't seen the manga being mentioned in this thread, so here you go.

>>42708I agree that the MC is quite wizardly, and it's a pretty funny show, but I wish it was paced better.
It mystery bates way too much yet hardly ever gets around to answering the many many many questions it raises.
I am not a fan of mystery box storytelling. I am inherently suspicious of it.
Also, because of this the first season was left on like 2 dozen cliffhangers they built up. Which I don't think will get answered unless you read the manga or LN it's based on since I doubt it will get a second season.

Most of anime/manga is going to be escapist. It's just that normans have decided they are the main characters.
