Anyway, I don't know. Why would you want to learn Spanish?
Some years ago when I didn't really have plans to learn Japanese I thought that if I were to learn a language, I'd use translated Japanese media for "immersion". But now that I started learning Japanese and experience Japanese media in its pure form, it would suck to go back to translations to learn another language, but it's not like I particularly like modern media from other countries…
Maybe if I decided to learn a language now I could use their imageboards for "immersion" (though I don't know if non-English imageboards are good, because at least the one for my native language is horrible and has a Reddit/normalfag userbase). I think that imageboards might in general be slightly harder than for example movies (due to irregular speech patterns and specialized slang/jargon), but I'm automatically at an advanced level of Spanish simply because my native language is so similar, so anything serves.
Anyway, about…
>I believe Discord is good if you want to text someone in privateDiscord spies on its users and can ban you for your PRIVATE MESSAGES. Unless the person you want to text is a lazy tech illiterate NPC zoomer who refuses to try new kinds of software, I would recommend an open source protocol like XMPP or Matrix. Though even something like Telegram or Signal would be better (less bad) in that case.
