You don't need to join a religion that aligns vaguely with who you want to be in order to be that person. If you want to practice peaceful indifference, celibacy, and recite mantras, just do those things without trying to justify it as part of some archaic streetshitter ritual. The only thing you have to gain by fulfilling the duties of this religion is the respect from a bunch of world-polluting people who drink cow piss and worship feces.

I went there as a teenager for a free meal. They seemed like really nice people honestly.

The veganism seems very unhealthy though. That's the only thing I'd be hesitant about.

UPDATE: I have been learning extremely detailed info about Prasadam, Deity Worship + trying to chant rounds whilst knowing REAL Vaishnavas chant 64 rounds daily.
I have been listening to tons of bajans ,kirtans, and dancing a lot in an ecstatic mood as well as learning about Prabhupada.

ISKCON is a chanting cult unfit for a true wizard. I don't think it's spiritually bad, but it's definitely aimed towards the uneducated masses. The self-willed yogi is naturally averse to this kind of simplistic gathering promising enlightenment for the price of joining in on their jingle. But if a jingle and some flowery friends to sing it with are all you truly desire, then there is no real problem with joining your local group.
