All communist nations have either become third world shitholes or completely disintegrated. The only counterexamples I can think of are China and North Korea. China has largely abandoned all communist economic policy and communist ideology with the reforms in the 80s. It maintains it more as a tradition like European nations still have kings and palaces. North Korea is more closer to the spirit of communism but has also mostly abandoned it for the "Supreme Leader system". There is no real communist party, everything is concentrated around this dynasty.
I live in Europe and the left has largely abandoned everything communism and worker related and replaced it with idpol.
Either way I dislike communism, I don't want to work, I want to neet undisturbed. Imagine getting lectured by some party official how neeting is antisocial and "everyone has to contribute to the system". It takes away basic freedom to do your own thing and puts everything under strict control of a communist party.
