I was rereading the original run of The Avengers to keep boredom at bay, and yet again I'm impressed by John Buscema's artwork. I checked his wiki page and there's this passage in there:
"Buscema's passion for drawing was such that he continued to draw and sketch in his spare time, often on the back of comic book art pages, and these images form a considerable body of work in their own right. His brother Sal Buscema recalled,

This guy used to eat, sleep and breathe drawing. It didn't matter what was going on around him. He would get bored with it and start sketching. … He just couldn't stop drawing. [His back-of-board sketches were] better than some of the stuff that he did on the front. … He'd get a spark of inspiration and turn the page over and draw whatever was in his skull"

How nice it must be to have such passion and drive for something.

I think even a lot of current artists are like that as well but current artwork feels so sanitized and toothless. This is Dan Mora's style, one of the guys everybody likes now. It's cute but there's just no grit at all. It's too lightweight, can't quite explain. It also appropriates too much of manga, which doesn't suit cape stuff well. This is all a matter of taste of course, but I'll always like the old guard better.

Don't take the breadpill. I used to be a wheatmaxxed flourchad until I found out what it does to your body (YOUR body, not mine because I'm indestructible). It makes you tired, it makes you sleepy, and it even makes you want to doze off. Don't believe me? Every single time you've eaten bread in your life, you felt the need to sleep within 18 hours afterwards. Baguettes online will try to tell you that the crust is the healthiest part of sandwich but that's moot considering the entire slice is made from a plant that literally grows out of dirt fertilized with animal shit. If humans were meant to eat bread we would have windmills for hands. Bread dries up in the sun, so just imagine what it does inside of you. It needs yeast in order to even become palatable and we all know where yeast comes from. It needs to be cooked in a toaster at 200 degrees before it's safe to spread peanut butter on. Ducks, literal bottom feeders, go nuts for bread. People who are drugged up are referred to as "baked" because eating bread has the same effect.

I'm gonna create an EOTW thread for this but holy shit, this video was recommended by the algorithm with the title "Parasites are eating your hobbies alive". Created in 2026.

I don't know if the creator is a millennial or older, or if he's a zoomer who's just realised something we've know since AT LEAST 2014 if not earlier but Goddamn, this is realising you've got cancer after it's reached a terminal stage.

I stopped eating bread and pasta a year ago and some times I've tried coming back to have more food variety but I can't do it amymore because they're not real food and taste like nothing, you only notice when you've stopped eating that slop for some time. Spaghetti used to be my favorite food and last time I ate them some months ago I realized what I really liked was the carbonara sauce with the cheese and bacon, that's where the real food was.

I'll admit I still eat some junk food but at least that's tasty.

Do you let it grow because you like it that way or you just don't like going to the hairdresser? When I was younger I let it grow for the latter reason and it was so uncomfortable, nowadays I just cut it myself so I get no BS and also save extra money. I also noticed other reclusive type of guys also let it grow so I assume they do it for similar reasons.

nta but I'm also just buzz cutting it at this point. To be fair I've started doing it due to my receding hairline because I figured I was wasting money getting haircuts that never look all that good due to the missing hair. But even though I trim my hair twice a week it's still much cheaper and convenient than going to a barber. I also like how it feels and that I no longer have to entertain thoughts about whether my hair looks too unkempt to go outside on a particular day or not.

Animepahe downloader didn't have one title as it's not on Animepahe. Anikai.to is gone. Miruro has it, but download link for that particular title doesn't work. 1DM Lite downloaded it, but it didn't open. Could've tried to download in bigger resolution and see what if, instead installed Video DownloadHelper extension on Supermium. It downloaded 3 eps and then said there's a limit, wait for 2 hours or pay. VPN didn't help. So I installed the same extension on r3dfox. And it worked.
