Well I guess in a sense the original meme was about learning as shown on these /lit/ charts. Knowledge and the pills go always hand in hand, but I wouldn't say it was self improvement in a manosphere grifter way, that sounds more like the distilled normalfag version.

Redpill is mostly a conservative movement about how men are supposed to be tough and all that and how that would get you a succubus or awaked some sort of really stoic Roman Legionary inside you. It's mostly a hoax and a scam. You can only self-improve to a degree tbh, and that degree is greatly exaggerated within those circles, you still have the ceiling of you financial conditions, your genetic conditions, and your environmental conditions, etc. This industry is also heavily commercialised and no longer the bro-advice that it used to be. In a way it is as dumb as the bluepill personality BS.
