I'm going to read through this and check some references to see how it goes. I've been wondering what the specific tenets of virginity are and how they are given value in societies.

barring the observation that you didn't even read the subject, this book seems unrelated to the topic of virginity in and of itself

There is a lot of stuff in Catholic theology about how volcel is superior to marriage, going back to St Paul, Jerome, Aquinas, and Trent.

We could use this to propagandize our volcel lifestyle by quoting their own Church Fathers. Its like your own religion tells you volcel is the superior mode of life. Its like we have a built in audience to spread the volcel gospel to. And if you disagree you're going to hell.

Celibacy itself is neutral, the good from it comes from the plenty of spare time you have to pray and please God instead of using that time to please a wife. Celibacy alone is not virtuous, but if it is a sacrifice that is offered to God, then it is virtuous.

It is better to please God than having a wife, that is what St. Paul meant

No the RCC has affirmed by Aquinas and Trent explicitly affirms that volcel is better than marriage. They aren't gnostic antinatalists. Marriage is good too. But they aren't equal. Volcel is higher on the hierarchy.

In the 4th century, St. Ambrose spoke so beautifully and highly of virginity that mothers and fathers wouldn’t let their daughters go to hear him preach, because he would undoubtedly convince them to pass on marriage and enter the role of virgins.

St. Thomas Aquinas held that virginity was preferable to marriage. He wrote, “By the example of Christ, Who both chose a virgin for His mother and remained Himself a virgin, and by the teaching of the Apostle who counsels virginity as the greater good” (II.II.q.52a.4).

The most authoritative pronouncement comes from the Council of Trent, “If anyone says that the married state excels the state of virginity or celibacy, and that it is better and happier to be united in matrimony than to remain in virginity or celibacy, let him be anathema” (Trent 24.10).

In 1954, and realizing that chaste celibacy was being more and more forgotten and underappreciated, Pope Pius XII wrote an encyclical specifically on consecrated virginity. He said, “Virginity is preferable to marriage then, as We have said, above all else because it has a higher aim: that is to say, it is a very efficacious means for devoting oneself wholly to the service of God, while the heart of married persons will remain more or less ‘divided’” (Sacra Virginitas).

Pius XII is saying exactly what I said there though, compare this part fo my post:
>it is a very efficacious means for devoting oneself wholly to the service of God
I wrote what I wrote because Satan himself never had sex in the first place, the greatest of the demons is a virgin and he is a demon not because of his virginity but because he rejects God
Nothing stops a virgin from rejecting God and that is what I wanted to allude to. Of course a celibate will have to deal with lustful thoughts here and there, resisting them is a form of sacrifice that you can offer to God, but if you are a degenerate who despite not masturbating, you let yourself be entertained by a porn movie within your mind, the danger of you going to Hell for that exist and it is pretty high - I remember being an idiot on this point and ejaculating without even rubbing my penis once while fully awake. This is why I said that celibacy itself is neutral, now if you fight like a lion against not only against the physical manifestation of the sin of lust, but also in thought, God and the angels will appreciate that and consider that a gift, a proof of your love for God

I will write a more thoughtful post on everything you have quoted so far and how it relates to what i said. while i understand how my post could be seen as someone who is dissing virginity, know that i am not, just pointing to a higher reality that is our love for God that does not contradict what was expressed by the Sacred Magisterium.

Yeah tbh after I replied I realized I somewhat misread you as saying St Paul said its better to have a wife, but you didnt say that.

idk Satan was a virgin

now that i have thought about it better, there is nothing saying that Satan was a virgin, but there is also nothing indicating that he ever had sex or if the virgin label even makes sense for a (fallen) angel, considering they are pure intelligence

Its an interesting concept, going with what you were originally saying, about virginity as a source of great power and concentration. And so the Satan being celibate as to not be distracted from concentrated evil.

theres not much in theological sources about Satan's sexuality, although a lot in popular folk mythology.

Although his writing is not explicitly about celibacy, I find that Fernando Pessoa encapsulates quite eloquently the wizard spirit. Particularly in his most prominent work; The Book Of Disquiet.
