These two sentences should be unrelated in a healthy, clear mind. Simply having a partner does not mean you accomplish anything. Ask yourself: what does it even mean to accomplish and what was even meant to be accomplished?

And yes you can disregard the impulss, but it's always nagging there in the back of my mind. That ultimately nothing else matters in life beyond "making it" into the next generation.
I hate the idea of my bloodline going extinct but it's not like I have a say in the matter.

Here I'll help you with your retarded life goal:

>>219047This. It's actually not that easy mentally to survive to 30+ as a virgin male. By 40 a large portion have gone insane or killed themselves and 50+'s are unicorns.
Most users on the site are depressed teens and 20 something aspergers who still have years to burn away before they go mad from the solitude.

Congratulations.
Take it from an archwizard - it really does get easier. I didn't believe it when I was young, but it does, and so many - wizards, married cuckolds, succubi who had yet to go completely crazy - tried to tell me to not beat myself up over this stupid shit.
Basic "trick" is to see this society for what it is, and not lie to yourself about it. Lie to others if you must, for what good that does you, but the worst thing you can do is lie to yourself about anything. Whenever someone makes you internalize contradiction - and this is a game managers play to torture the slaves - you will always be forced to backslide on things that were once basic. This is much easier said than done, because management made a rule where they mark who is obligated to utter lies about themselves and who is free to transgress this requirement.
Even better news is, because these assholes shit up the country and the world so much, there are far fewer pretenses suggesting any of this shit works or ever could work. Right now I'm looking more at how I'm going to survive for the next decade, if that's possible. I don't like my chances. But, I'm done believing that "the system" or all of those expectations were ever worth anything. The people ruling this society only thought about how to burn it to the ground and run off with the gold.

>>219082While it can be comforting thought that the vast majority of 30+ wizzies take their lives, hence why they don't post, I think it's simply most realize what an utter waste of time sites like this are.
Honestly, if you lurked here for no more than 2 years, you've seen everything worthwhile here.
I've encountered "forgotten" lolcows by chance that supposedly "roped" or were rumored to have found equally dismal fates and I was even pleasantly surprised to find their current states or wherabouts.
I think most people in the target age-group just don't bother with sites like wizchan. I came here as a teenager in the early 2010s and took several years hiatus where the site didn't even cross my mind. A bout of bed-ridden illness brought me back here for a period, just because I barely could do anything else.

Why do you believe that is? You don't even have to experience much of the world outside the neighborhood to realize how dumb, warped, misguided, naive, humorless, or just plain useless most of the posts on this site are.

I think any elderwiz who went on the self improvement path far enough for them to attract a mate likely would've ditched this website early on in their journey so they wouldn't even think to post here. That or they know how such a post would be received so they don't bother.

Nice, thanks for validating my decision not to work hard. Everyone who works hard imagines their hard work will make them a winner. But that's not how life goes, many people work hard and still lose. Why go through the effort if you have traits that will make you end up a loser no matter what you do?
