You underestimate the amount of people who just completely give up or commit suicide if they remain virgins (against their will) past their 30s.
It's not a badge of honor even for most recluses, it's a painful sharp reminder nature is selecting you out of human society as an unfit specimen.

This place is a last refuge and last place of social interaction for many virgins who still cling to some minuscule hope, and most of those men are 18-29 which is when the future is still somewhat open.

I started some of those hobby threads in my 20s when I still had some spark and hope left.

Now in my 30s I can't even indulge in them. Doesn't matter if it's my ex. favorite video game, I just no longer feel anything when playing it and getting immersed into the world is impossible.

Honestly speaking, every cell in my body is yelling "you had your run in this world. The ride is over now. Please exit on the next station and make way for new passengers."
