I genuinely think Genshin has one of the best casual exploration gameplay out there but I stopped playing because I hate grinding for character mats. Gacha is a scam and will never get my money. Honestly I am sick of live service gachaslop now so I probably won't play them again. Also Chinese can't write and Hoyoverse is the king of awkward infodump. Last time I play Genshin I can't stop spamclicking to get through their dumbass chatgpt-esque wall of text because they don't want to add a skip feature for some reasons. I don't care about the country of origin. More competition is good. The Japanese need to stop being complacent with their old successful IPs they're not doing anything with. The recent fate collab on star rail blow away any 3d fate games in term of animation and models. Compare it with Samurai Remnant for example.

It's astounding we can play such a BotW clone on a mobile phone. Plus I like the soundtrack, it's really beautifully composed.
