Ever since kindergarten up until university I hated how the education system is so tailored towards neurotypicals aka normies, it was full of useless activities in which you would be paired in groups just for the sake of "teamwork", except you wouldn't have any say on the matter if you were an autistic kid and half of the time would be spent waiting for the normoids finishing their banter so that anything can be done. In college it got worst, college teachers are lazy so they do lots of teamwork assignments so that they have less job to review and for that I was paired with low sentient deer-in-the-headlights normgroids that would just talk about Niggerball2kXX. None of these activities ever had any purpose other than socializing because normies get bored without constant social interaction and modern education system is extremely soft-handed. Algebra was hated by most people in my school. We were forced to "know" it in order to have a passing grade in math. Since high school it have never been relevant to anyone's life. STEM people are probably the only ones having any use for it.
Despite being around for over 150 years, public schools are still bad at teaching. Gen alpha can barely read and write. Instead of blaming the teachers for being incompetent. They blame it on electronics. 9/10 of my teachers were uncharismatic, always delivered their lectures in the most boring way ever.

Back in my high school library, we used to have variety of magazines including gaming. People were more interested in reading those than actual novels or non-fiction literature.
The problem was that reading comprehension was declining nationwide. My school scored low regarding that. To remedy this, my school removed all magazines.
They actually believed that by removing the magazines, the students would just pick up the books instead. This just resulted in even more people scrolling social media.
The library was pretty empty with the magazine readers, without them it became even more empty.
