I tried joining a few AVPD discords and it was… Underwhelming.
Most of them are already formed cliques and my experience was just monitoring the chats, expecting an opportunity to join in when it seems appropriate, but the opportunity never came.
What's worse, most of them seem to be pretty social. I'm not a complete NEET shut in but I struggle with basci social interactions. People on those discords had more or less vibrant social lives. And there are of course were succubi who, despite their so-called AVPD, maanged to date. I don't understand them. Are we on different levels of functionality? What's the point then? There was some fuck who told that he visited a concert. How? On some people who claim to club, even being DJs. A lot of people are even married and with children.
Are we having the same personality disorder?
Frankly, I also see a lot of posters on the AVPD sub who scratch their heads at those people too, so I'm not alone. Still, I wonder what's wrong with us vs them.
I also check other personality disorder subs for time to time to see my cousins, so to speak. I wonder why nobody in the narcissism sub bemoans the lack of social interactions if they are the worst out of all personality disorders. Makes the old noggin' thinkin', huh?

the people that seem the most normal to us, can relate to us to 100%.
it's just that we cannot relate to them AT ALL. how can this be?
we have some more walking to do. and time is short. when people get to know your age, acting like you do, they just smile.
they cannot take you serious. you're this age, and still like that? I REMEMBER HAVING BEEN LIKE THAT! THAT WAS WHEN I WAS 12!

Normally I would just get cheaper pants but these ones have a groin gusset so they should be more durable in that area and be extremely comfortable. That combined with the heavier fabric and much more robust seams means these pants should last me for years. Which means I won't have to go pants shopping for years.
If they don't work out I will go back to buying a new couple of sets of walmart pants every 6 months.

Sleep apnea isn't an issue to take lightly. It's suffocation, it inhibits proper sleep which afflicts every aspect of the body, and one of its peculiar side effects is substantially hightened cortisol production as the body believes someone is trying to murder it every night. On PC and I'm sure on Android, long links that weren't even shown in full in the description couldn't be opened the past. Either Google changed something or the author changed something. My reply to someone's comment with link to the file (it was tests) also vanished. I found the link on Facebook (using relative's account for research). Removing replies to comments by the author of the channel themself — seems unlikely even technically. But who knows, lazy to search. Don't know if it's clickable on PC now. Time to archive these links and put them in word file to my future pdf file upload with other tests found on the other topic elsewhere. So that if videos are deleted, instead of finding links to YouTube videos in archive with test links in the description, someone would stumble across them on archive.org, maybe even through Qwant search results. Putting links in the description of pdf upload on archive.org may give illusion of piracy, even though the author shared them for free. Two of my uploads of Pokemon books got deleted for copyright. Though I've put long descriptions with videos from the social media that I've archived and no problem. But it was more self-explanatory.

Then I remember seeing one song with the mixtape's cover on YouTube. Search the name, voilà. Another YouTube channel affiliated with the compiler uploaded it. However, no year. I know about further volumes, about MySpace being on the back cover. Project of DatPiff being uploaded to Internet Archive stopped after a virus was found. I looked at the rar file — downloaded by myself in 2013. I looked at the cover metadata — it says about 2010 as creation year. Back cover has no year, Google and Qwant — no info. I played Saya no Uta and some files said 2003 or something even though I installed the game like 15-20 years after. Guess the image data doesn't lie. MP3 files data are empty. If what I have just works, then progress, change and new features don't appeal to me, and are an annoyance more often than not.
I too was a windows 7 user until last year, when I made the switch to linux as my main system, with a windows 10 virtual machine to run that one piece of software I need for work.
Not sure why this is common among people like us. Most of us spend a lot of time using computers and the internet, so maybe our preferences are more specific than the preferences of a more casual user, and there are less pressures in our lives forcing us to let go of those preferences and switch to something else.

It does indeed play mkv and 10bit files smoothly as long as they were encoded in 1920x1080, not 4K because it's being all software decoded. Surprisingly it's not as slow as you'd think it is, but it does heat up quite a bit (I get 65-75 degrees temps when playing modern anime files) and that's with turboboost disabled already. For general web browsing and light usage I think it still holds up pretty well, beware of singlecore depending applications like most websites javascript (Pixiv is a perfect example, with more than 10 pixiv tabs it does start lagging a bit)

Even older Thinkpads, pre Sandybridge era are even cheaper but the jump in cpu speed was noticeable, and those older ones use ccfl tubes for backlight so they'd be pretty worn out by now. I don't think there's much difference in real world speed between Intels 2nd gen up to 10th gen, they only catched up to AMDs Zen 3 and 4 around 12th gen (and later had the well known controversy of early failure oxidation for higher powered chips).
