>>223512dear wizzie, outside ur room there may be many things, but what you need to be scared of most isnt humans but something i call "lamp post entity." in my childhood bed room i was laying in my wiz bed and about a block over was a lamp post. a tall, spindly structure, the lamp had a bright light that illuminated a small area around it. its light was not enough to reach much else.
i was kind of looking at this in a daze when i saw something that i distinctly knew i was –not– meant to see. suddenly, behind the lamp post a tall creature similar to a stick insect poked out and took impossibly long strides to the next lamp further down. and just as it went to hide behind it the creature turned to look right at me. I remember feeling this sense of terror staring at where i assumed its head was. like i felt inside my head the words: "i know that you saw me and I want to make clear you werent meant to see this. if you keep quiet it will be okay."
and you know what: I did keep quiet. I waited years to tell even a single person this story. I waited until the lamps were replaced entirely and a whole new neighborhood was built. Until I'd moved over an ocean away from that place. But I'd be lying if I said I don't remember it whenever I see a lamp. Like the one near my house. maybe the creature never left me.

I have the same dilemma. I guess it really boils down to the fact wizards and loners frequently don't live that much past 30.
For most people who aren't truly schizoid, it's daily torture. From the 10 or so online friends I had since OSRS days in my youth 6 have killed themselves and 2 are in an institution.
Most people aren't in that predicament by choice, every one of them through the years as they got older told me how tiresome it is to have zero love, no kids, mundane job and pretty much exist alone.

Me too. But the vast majority of the people I met who ended up alone, childless and familyless, were as such involuntarily.
I guess I'm the exception, the less people the better.

No.224221
>>224219Your pic only proves the average "normal" person is a deranged low IQ sociopath who only constrains himself in real life because he has no audience, and it's not socially acceptable to hide their face and be anonymous. They also fear physical repercussions.
What they say online and how they act on social media is in fact the pure unfiltered essence of that person when they no longer fear social consequences for saying what they really want to say.
People are just so scared of the fact most people around them are monsters, they handwave it off as "harmless trolling". It's not trolling. It's who these people are and have the opportunity to display themselves under the veil of anonymity.

I treat imageboards like a sandbox where I can let out the most retarded shit on my mind
almost like a toilet for the brain
No.225782
Imageboards absolutely ruined my life and I wished I never discovered them.
They gave me an easy way to avoid my problems and on top of that it gave me tools that hardened me against any form of self improvement. The constant comparison against "normies" foster a strong "us" vs "them" mindset that kept me feeling hopeless. The constant overexaggeration and jumping to conclusions gave me a very twisted and unrealistic world view. Not actually ever "seeing" the person I was communicating with caused me to never learn how to connect with others or even that such a thing was possible.
It has been a disaster that I am finally starting to recover from at the age of 38.

You are no different than the fat transvestite who sees a character he likes in a cartoon and starts proselytizing that the character is "trans coded" and totally representative of his distinct brand of mentally ill faggotry. You're an annoying "ironic weeb" who gets called out online, you see an anime succ who sometimes makes a smirky face, and you immediate convince yourself "she's literally me!" like the freak that you are. Imageboard culture trains you to be this way. Like it is a fucking enemy psyop designed to cripple an entire generationThis isn't just the image boards. I went to different online forums and tried to raise that some of the definitions create performative behavior ("crab" is an example). They fucking defend the shit aggressively, even on "self-improvement" platforms.
They're infested with secret crabs, all of them. Some get caught here even but we have the best policy of banning them. And that's just ONE schizo game for keks.
Social media has created permissive grounds for fucked up schizo games.
